Union Hotel

Nice boutique hotel with excellent location. Short walk to waterfront, CN Tower and shopping center. Will stay here again next visit

I was traveling for work and needed something near my conference. This hotel was half the price of the conference hotel. The room was very small but had everything I needed. I even spent some time on the desk working on my laptop. Lots of nice touches, I felt like they put a lot of time in thinking about what to put in the rooms with limited space. I highly recommend for business travellers.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is pretty nice, clean and the design is very good. The common space is quite cozy and good to hang out with friends or work (from anywhere).  All staff are very welcoming, friendly, and polite. We booked the room with breakfast included. The breakfast has an entree with a drink. The taste of the breakfast is quite good. The public parking is quite close, but the exit of the parking is on the other side of the road. The only downside of this stay is there were a bit loud noise in both mornings from the street, sounds like from the car/truck loadings (I'm not sure). The sound started from around 6.30am ish, which is a bit too early for us. Anw, overall we are pretty happy staying at The Union Hotel. 

Nice, clean, convenient to Union Station. Good vibe in the lobby. Comfortable bed. Good shower. But the room was so tiny (a classy king) that there was no room for a real desk.

Wonderful boutique hotel right near the lake and stadiums and literally 3 mins to the train station. Art deco feel is great. Smallish room but well equipped and monster TV

I had a last minute medical issue that prevented me from attending the trade show and, as such, didn't need/couldn't use my hotel room. I tried to cancel using both Trip.com and directly through the hotel. Neither worked as I was outside of the cancellation policy. While I completely understood and didn't fight that, I suggested I pay for the hotel as planned, not check in so they could resell the room, and then they could issue a credit for a stay at a later date - which I think is completely reasonable and fair since my issue was unforeseen. The hotel said they couldn't accommodate - which is nonsense - and Trip.com was useless. I do not recommend and am extremely disappointed. It's always a shame when people forgo common sense and understanding then hide behind policy.

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel. Perfectly located, restaurants & bars nearby. Friendly staff, highly recommend a stay.
