Nemea Appart Hotel Concorde Toulouse Gare Matabiau

The hotel is newly remodeled. The room is clean and plenty of storage. Kitchenette comes with even for a double room. The hotel location is exceptionally convenient. However, the new hotel name is not easy to spot from the street. The bathtub seems like on a much higher level than the bathroom floor, making walking out of the bathtub quite a challenge to those having mobility concerns. The sharp corners of the drawers and desk are could be a parent concern for their little ones.

I arrived at this hotel to discover my reservation had been cancelled. As a lone traveller in an unknown city this was quite distressing. The hotel could give no explanation for the cancellation and just advised my to contact Trip. Trip had not been notified by the hotel of this cancellation but thankfully Heidi came to my aid with options. The hotel staff, the gentleman tried his best and did let me stay due to the lateness of the evening in a room. I just gave my card details for a deposit charge. Thankfully there were rooms available! On the morning after my first night, Camille on reception advised payment had been found for my stay. Great, but again had failed to inform me the cause of the cancellation and to why Trip were not notified. Furthermore she did imply i would be compensated for the inconvenience, this never happened. I came to the conclusion payment was there priority, not service. Heidi from Trip called me later that day to follow up on the situation she reimbursed me by offering some Trip coins. This I appreciate even though it had not been Trips mistake. Thank you Heidi! The hotel i remain disappointed with here and i will not be staying with this chain of hotel again.

Most of their receptionists were quite rude. Their loo paper was so rough and I had a feeling they divided one look paper for two.

The hotel was exactly as the photos showed. I was surprised to be asked for 150 euros deposit, This needs to be more transparent before booking. It’s difficult to find where this wording appears. Also my room on the 5 floor was almost impossible to sleep in due to very strong cooking smells permeating my room, from where I’m not sure. A shame because the hotel is very convenient for the main railway station in Toulouse.

The room was excellent, the staff was polite and provided great service, and the atmosphere was clean and pleasant. The room was new and well-equipped with all necessary amenities. The breakfast was simple but of average quality. I will definitely come back again.

We loved the breakfast buffet and the variety of amenities. It’s right across the street from the Toulouse Matabiau train station.
