Oarks Canal Park Hotel Toyama Reviews

The hotel has a lot of history, so the facilities are a bit old but still clean. The location is excellent! There's no washing machine, no water dispenser, and bottled water isn't provided daily. The amenities are minimal, but the room rate is relatively cheap.

Very good location, walking distance from Toyama station. Snowy mountain view from our room. Very nice and helpful. front desk staff. Delicious set breakfast.

One of the lights didn't turn on, but it worked after I moved the plug to a different outlet. The knob for the bath faucet was loose and felt a bit flimsy. However, the front desk staff were all very cheerful and their service was pleasant. I think it would be better if the room equipment checks were more thorough.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel last time, so I booked a second stay very quickly.

The double bed is too small. I did not have a good sleep But the view is fantastic

The room is clean. Close to Toyama station. The mattress and pillow are kind of too hard and firm. The staff in the morning was not really helpful on inquiries. She immediately say “she doesn’t know “ maybe because she is alone.

Better than expected for a 3-star hotel! The room is clean, the hotel is only 3 minutes walk from Toyama station, which makes it very convenient to travel around Toyama area. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel at all, even though I booked a small room but I don't think its small at all. It has more than enough space to pack a large luggage. Also, the price is very cheap for a room like this. Will definitely be coming back some day!

Extra fee was charged for mobile massage service provided by others. Staff is not able explain the reason for extra fee in English

Clean & very convenient location, near train station.

The hotel was near the railway station, and it was walking distance to the various shops at the station. The staff was polite and professional in checking us in. The room was small as per Japanese standard.

Even though it was a Japanese hotel, I really liked that the room was spacious. The location was also the best.

The view was great, and the service was incredibly polite. I would like to use this service again.
