Hotels near Iwayakannon in Toyoura

On the second day of our trip to Southern Donan in the second half of Silver Week, we visited “Toyoura Onsen Shiosai no Yu”! This is a place run by Toyoura-cho, and rather than a hotel, it's more like a hot spring facility with lodging facilities. The location is outstanding, and from the window (although the room is on the first floor) you can overlook Funka Bay, which is the best view. The public bath opens at 22:00 and can only be entered from 6:00 to 07:30 in the morning. And so on, it's not possible to spend a relaxing time. It was written in the plan A Japanese-style room of about 20 tatami mats without a washbasin and toilet, like a banquet hall, was monopolized by a family of four☺! I was able to have the luxury of saying that.I had an encounter that blew away the fixed notion that the restaurants attached to these facilities are expensive, the portions are small, and the food isn't very tasty! My seafood yakisoba was so delicious that I could get addicted to it. I don't recommend staying so much, but I definitely recommend bathing and eating! The hot springs are clean, spacious, and warm! It was very nice to have all three beats

Others are good, especially the breakfast is the best! The only inconvenience is the traffic, away from the Toya Lake attractions, no fireworks, and the bus time is too limited.

I booked the room with a plan called the lake side, but it was certainly on the lake side, but it was on the lower floor (4 floor), and the building was disturbed and I could only see the view of 90 degrees. When I stayed at another inn of the same group in the same Toya Lake before, the situation was exactly the same, and the building was still in the way on the bottom floor (2nd floor), and the lake was 90 degree view. Is this hotel group only prepared such a room for a single traveler? Check-in was a system that gave keys to students on school trips, with papers and keys written on the names on the tables outside the lobby. The dinner time was decided by the inn in advance because it was to avoid congestion, but it was finished that I went to the dinner venue on time and was waiting in full seat. Moreover, I wondered if they were laying a futon during dinner, but the futon was not laid. When I finally thought I came to lay the futon, I came to two children who were part-time jobs, such as junior high school students or high school students. This is the first time I have a child lay a futon at a hot spring inn. I was disappointed. I noticed after checking out, but my body was stabbed by mites. I think it's caused by a futon. This is the first time I have been damaged by mites at the inn. I do not recommend this inn. You should consider another inn.

Hotel fill with activities for all ages. We went in a big family group of 14 pax ranging from age 9 till 80 and everyone loved Toya Sun Palace. Kids and teens enjoyed the wave pool in the water park where there were Stingray and Flamingo buoys to use free of charge and during the time of our stay there were 6 slides opened. However there was additional one bigger slide which required to pay a 500 yen extra if we’d like to use and they would give us a 4-6 pax buoy to slide down and this 500 yen extra was for 50 minutes. The place that our 6 kids (9-18 years old) enjoyed the most was the Game Center Arcade with variety of games for everyone. A big thank to the Japanese man who was on duty the night of our stay (12/4/2023), he was very kind and very generous and because of him we had the best experience ever in playing games at the game arcade. Sorry we didn’t catch his name. The onsen here was very good especially the outdoor onsen where we could enjoy the onsen while over looking at the beautiful Lake Toya. We stayed in both a Japanese Modern and a Western Modern and the only difference between them was the Tatami vs Carpet floors. Rooms were standard Japanese style room and were big enough for 3 in each room. Dinner buffet was good with an all you can eat Hagandaz ice cream and we all loved there Japanese steam eeg (ไข่ตุ๋น). And for breakfast buffet the food was ok for me since they didn’t provide yoghurt and not many varieties of vegetables salads however we were stunned by the beauty of Lake Toya scenery. Anyway my son and daughter loved Toya Sun Palace so much that they wish to visit again soon. We really enjoyed onsen and the Game Center plus a Ping Pong room so much and it was an unforgettable experience for all of us. Thank you Toya Sun Palace ❤️

Service is the worst among all Hilton hotels i visited. Not enough staff and most of them are either inexperienced or not trained! An experienced ones are not welcoming at all and just talking among themselves on the concierge desk. Shuttle bus also delayed and not showed up according to the schedule provided. Room is old and TV channels are all domestic ones only. Restaurants don’t have proper wine menu and staff have no knowledge about wine /sake. Good thing is the location, next to ski slopes and niseko village.

The hotel is well located, 800 metres from the bus station and on the lake. The room was very comfortable and was very comfortable and was very comfortable. This is the first use. Stayed at my wife's birthday celebration. 3 Ｆ Japanese-Western style room with open-air bath in the East Building. I arrived earlier than 15:00 at check-in, but he passed me to the room early. When you attach the car, you will leave the car to the person in charge. You can see Lake Toya from the room. The large communal bath is located in Nishikan 3 Ｆ. There is a little distance, but it was saved because it was on the same floor. There is a sauna, so first go to the public bath. It was full, but it was vacant and enjoyed the sauna slowly. There is a water bath of ２ and one is a jacuzzi type. It has an autorouryu and can be put in 8 people. The clothes in the hall are separate types, and separate pajamas are also available. Supper is a French course. Other reviews said that the amount was small, but we were quite enough. There are plenty of alcohol and many types. After dinner, go to the second large communal bath. I also got Ochazuke from 22:00 and went to bed. Enjoy the sauna in the morning and have breakfast. Half buffet that can be selected from Japanese and Western. We choose Japanese food. The buffet is also ample for us on a plate with freshly cooked new rice and autumn salmon. It's delicious no matter what you eat. The smoothie was also delicious. The staff were overseas, but they were very good at customer service. Good room, good food, good spa, good service and great satisfaction. Thank you for your wife's Poot casually giving me a birthday celebration message and present with white chocolate for dinner dessert. It was an inn that I definitely wanted to use again.

This time, I signed to South Wing on the tour I asked for at JAL. However, it was very inconvenient that the front desk on the South Wing side was not vacant and all procedures had to be done at the front desk of the North Wing. The bus departs and arrives on the north side, so it's better than the other side ... Some girls start meetings in the corridor at night because they are involved in a floor where high school students travel together. It's such a time when I have something to do at the front desk, but I told you on the phone because I can't help it. The large communal bath on the south side is an old facility without an open-air bath, so every time you go to the bath, you will have to walk a decent number of steps. It will be an exercise. Similarly, most of the restaurants are on the north side (hereinafter omitted, this time I used the massage in the hall as a couple, but my arms were quite well healed.

Nice stylish condo-styled hotel with full in room facilities (cooking, washing machines, dryer etc) which is really gd for long stay. Suites are big & spacious, awesomely clean & superd decor. Onsen is decent & gd for a quick dip but a little small if compared to noborebetsu ones. Ski area is outstanding with ample storage for ski gear. Truly ski in/ski out resort if u can ski wel as you can hit the slopes once you're all geared up. For beginner, u hv to carry your ski gear & walk down the slopes or walk indoor cutting thru the connected walkway to the main rusutsu hotel. Conclusion, will love to stay here again & for longer duration...😀

The room was large and quiet so I was able to spend a comfortable time! The staff were very friendly and I was able to enjoy my trip to Hokkaido without any inconvenience. Is the fireworks display lifted in various places this year? However, the fireworks in Toya here are the best! You can see it from your room, and if you want to experience more powerful fireworks, you can move to the lakeside to see it! (I was satisfied with the fireworks from the room ..) There is a little distance to the city, but I personally didn't particularly care. I definitely want to come next year!
