Novotel Paris Charles-De-Gaulle Airport Reviews

This hotel was absolutely terrible. For our Europe trip, there were two adults and one child (14 years old). We made sure to book rooms that could accommodate three people or two adults and one child, and the other five hotels were fine. However, on our last day, arriving at this Novotel at 1 AM for a connecting flight, we were immediately told the room could only accommodate two people and we couldn't check in! After a long discussion explaining that the child was 14, they said we could check in but they didn't have any rooms with a sofa bed, so we couldn't stay. They then told us we should have arrived earlier and to leave because we couldn't stay! But I specifically booked a room with a sofa bed in advance, and if I could arrive earlier, why would I book an airport hotel? We had no choice but to contact Ctrip's international hotline. At this point, they suddenly said there was a room available – so they were lying before! After over an hour of back-and-forth, we finally got a room past 2 AM. The staff brought the bedding to the room and left, leaving us to make the bed ourselves in the middle of the night. There was no duvet cover either, so we just slept under a sheet. We had to get up early to catch our flight, only getting a few hours of sleep with no compensation whatsoever! This hotel was a real nightmare. Absolutely do not choose this place!

Very convenient location to take the CDGVAL. Room is spacious and clean. Could also see planes landing and taking off from our room window.

I had a very comfortable stay at this hotel. The location was extremely convenient, as it is directly connected to the airport shuttle train station, so I could get there without getting wet even if it was raining. It also felt very safe and easy to use, even when arriving late at night. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Although there were quite a few people waiting, they handled everything smoothly and efficiently. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The bed and mattress were also very nice, and I slept well. The shower had good water pressure, and I really appreciated having a water filter, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator in the room. It was very convenient to have drinking water available, as well as being able to make tea or coffee. I also liked that the toilet and bathroom were separate. The room was spacious enough for me to open two large suitcases comfortably, and there was still plenty of space. The sofa area was also very comfortable. For an airport hotel, it was much better than I expected. On my departure day, since my flight was at night, I left my luggage after check-out, and the staff handled it very smoothly. Considering Paris prices, I felt this hotel was very good value. I would definitely stay here again if I need a hotel at Charles de Gaulle Airport. Thank you very much.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect Stay Before an Early Morning Flight !I booked a one-night stay to catch a very early flight the next day. It turned out to be the ultimate hassle-free transit experience, especially if you are flying out of Terminal 2!

Highly recommended for layovers or early morning flights. It's located right at Roissypole, making it super convenient to get around with the CDGVAL, and the shuttle service is very efficient.

Service was good, but hotel is old and needs to be renovated. Very old and carpet is old and dirty. Needs to be revived and definitely painted. Looks old and dirty.

The hotel location very good and convenient. About 5 mins walk from Terminal 3 CDGVAL. Room is clean and comfortable.

Extremely close to the airport, with very convenient transfers between terminals via the free train. An excellent transit hotel.

There was some wait checking in as there was only one person checking in. Perfect location, door to Novotel is inside Roissypole. One ride away to CDG via free shuttle train. Room was quiet, quite big with a fridge and kettle. Bed was comfortable. There is a carrefour city for basic groceries inside Roissypole. There is a restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. A nice and convenient hotel near CDG airport.

Conveniently located inside the airport at Terminal 3 shuttle station so no worries about rain. Great breakfast and helpful staff. Perfect for morning flights. Would book again.

Novotel is the big brother to the Ibis at CDG Airport, but its little cousin is much superior value.

The room came with complimentary water and drinks, which was incredibly welcome after an 11-hour flight and a late-night arrival. Having a kettle to heat water was also a huge plus, especially for Chinese travelers. What's more, everything was replenished first thing the next morning – something that's standard in Chinese hotels but a rare and wonderful find in Europe! And the ability to request the window be opened for ventilation was a nice touch.
