Residence Al Granzo

For once I'm sorry to give this insufficiency because Mr. Walter was really kind, but the structure does not deserve the price paid. Meanwhile, we arrive late in the evening and we are told not to worry because we will be given the necessary instructions to enter. The instructions are sent to us on time, but it's a pity that the key to enter is not where it should be .. we call and within 10 minutes the person arrives to give us the key. We enter the room and we can't wait to take a shower and surprise .. the shower is freezing, not cold, freezing!! We wash ourselves apart, it's too late to call again.. we go to bed and joy of joys we discover that we are at the corner of one of the nightlife streets, it's Friday evening and there is loud music and thousands of people. .you can't sleep before 2.30!!! And so it will be on Saturday and Sunday evening too.. The next morning we point out both the shower and the nightlife.. on the first we are told that there is the boiler switch above the bed in the annexed room, which we should have known with powers media since no one told us and it wasn't easy to guess .. for the nightlife, we're sorry but it doesn't depend on us, this is the answer that's fine it doesn't depend on you, but you can't rent those rooms for 120.00 euros night without breakfast! The inconvenience continues with the limitation of the towels available, the broken curtain that prevents the room from being darkened, a single tiny waste basket, the light in the hall that doesn't work .. in short, on vacation you would like not to worry about all this and rest assured. A pity because the place is convenient for getting around the city and the rooms are spacious.

Arrived at the hotel a scrawny ladder with a horrible yellow carpet that ends on the first floor, after that another flight of stairs with a protruding piece of cardboard that limits the width. Having said that, we were placed in a 6 person room which seemed to be made for 3 people and that was it. Uncomfortable beds with huge holes that made it impossible to sleep. Entering the room there is a small bathroom FOR SIX PEOPLE IN 5 DAYS with the ONE and I repeat ONE basket (present in the room) of dimensions of (40x60x30)cm. In the bathroom, in addition to the malfunctioning shower, there is ONLY ONE ROLL of toilet paper to reduce the use of paper towels on the last day. Accused of having soiled the room we were FORCED to give an additional 10€ for the maid who took us an hour (instead of the usual 20 minutes for 4 rooms, really unlikely). We were without a broom or bags to throw away the dirt caused . On the last day we got by and threw away 7 bags of stuff to then be accused of being PIGS (so said by the legendary owner whom I warmly greet and hope you read this review) for leaving dirt and not being able to pick it up with tools special. Complaining about the cleaning, they underlined THEMSELVES that they have a mediocre organization (giving "a compliment"). The icing on the cake was the expired yoghurt served for breakfast and the hotel's convention with a restaurant which, not only removed the plate when you hadn't finished eating yet, SERVED TAP water. I think the only stars taken are those made by friends or staff. Place to forget I DO NOT RECOMMEND such a thing to EVERYONE.

La scorsa settimana ho chiamato la struttura per prenotare due notti durante il ponte pasquale. Telefonicamente mi hanno dato tutte le informazioni, non mi viene chiesto un acconto e ho lasciato il mio recapito. Ieri vengo contattato e mi viene chiesto quando dare l’orario del mio arrivo al giovedì. Faccio notare che il mio arrivo è previsto per il venerdì e si scusano per il disguido. Oggi vengo ricontattato e mi viene detto che la camera sarà disponibile per venerdì notte, ma non per quella seguente. Mi viene addirittura chiesto di confermare la singola notte. Ovviamente rifiuto la singola notte e senza nemmeno scusarsi mi mollano così. Domani arriverò a Trieste e dovrò cercare un altro posto dove andare a dormire. Da evitare.

Voto scarso soprattutto in relazione al prezzo. Quasi 60 €/persona/notte per un appartamento con una camera dalle tende strappate ed il letto cigolante, un bagno con lavatrice rugginosa e ganci che si staccano dalle pareti ed altracameretta con caldaia (!) e relativa bacinella raccogli-gocce. È in un'ottima posizione, lo staff è gentile ma tutto troppo trascurato.

Residence in centro a Trieste, comodo da raggiungere anche se si arriva in treno e vicino a tutte le principali attrazioni della città. Alloggio spazioso e appena ristrutturato, dotato di cucina attrezzata con lavastoviglie e con tutto quello che vi può servire. Il signor Walter e il suo staff sono delle persone disponibili e deliziose, che ci sono venuti incontro risolvendo una nostra problematica. Ci sentiamo sentiti come a casa nostra e lo consigliamo assolutamente!

Residence locato in pieno centro a Trieste, con colazione abbondante (nonostante fossero fornite troppe paste alla marmellata rispetto al resto delle paste, quasi fossero degli avanzi da far finire) qualche “piccola” pecca: 1) NON è stata fornita sufficiente biancheria (4 set da 2 asciugamani per 6 persone, mai sostituiti) 2) NON sono state fornite buste della spazzatura (l’unica disposta era posizionata nell’unico cestino presente, nel bagno) 3) Letti scomodi e alcuni SFONDATI, altri, invece, ricavati da dei divani-letto dalla dubbia provenienza. 4) NON è stata fornita una chiave per il bagno, rendendo impossibile la privacy 5) La carta igienica fornita NON ERA SUFFICIENTE, l’ultimo giorno siamo stati costretti ad acquistarne dell’altra pagando di tasca nostra, ma terminata quella siamo stati costretti a sfruttare dello scottex (l’ora era tarda e i supermercati erano tutti chiusi). 6) Le camere non sono mai state pulite nel corso della residenza e non sono state messe a disposizione nemmeno scopa e paletta, costringendoci a vivere nella sporcizia come maiali d’allevamento. Nonostante ciò il proprietario ha avuto il coraggio di incolparci per aver lasciato la stanza con i pavimenti sporchi. 7) La struttura era fatiscente e dall’interno non si notavano differenze con le Vele di Scampia 8) La vicina del piano di sopra, alquanto molesta, non si è mai risparmiata di rimproverarci continuamente urlando per ogni risata leggermente più alta. 9) Il ristorante (o meglio, pizzeria) convenzionato dalla mezza pensione del residence ha sempre fornito, dalla prima all’ultima sera, un servizio PESSIMO ed inappropriato, togliendo il piatto da sotto il naso appena inforchettato l’ultimo boccone, servendo cibo in quantità insufficiente, dolci pessimi e acqua di rubinetto. Detto ciò non credo rimanga molto altro da dire se non il nostro più grande sconsiglio verso questo posto. Grazie e arrivederci
