Elegant Green Beach Resort

I have booked Elegant Green Beach Resort the main reason as Colonial hotel and spend time on my wifeys birthday from 29 th to 30 th October. From the Valley parking, Security, Front Office, Guest relations, Room Services and the Restaurants all related areas have given most professional services. Every person greeted with a smile which is phenomenal attraction to the Customer. Ms .Priya Sharma- Guest Relations has given an excellent customer and personalised service to us while at Reception counter have greeted with smile and given speedy checking-in on 29 th October. Ms Priya Sharma - Guest Relations showed highly skilled and professionalism who is great asset for the hotel. Veranda Restaurant' s staff have given more supportive services during our visits of Dinner and especially breakfast . Ms.Priya sharma,Cheff,Restaurant staff I wish you all the best!

I didn't stay at the resort, but I had three meals at the restaurant. My hotel was next door and the Elegant Green restaurant was better than the one at my hotel. Thinus made some delicious crispy calamari for me for dinner my last night. It was amazing. The staff is very sweet and accommodating and I wish I had stayed there instead of where I did. Highly recommend the restaurant here.

Great location and convenient facilities. Set breakfast is served from 8:30-10 am. This was tastefully prepared and plentiful. A large bottle of water is given complimentary but tea, coffee or juice comes with a premium. A private beach is just beyond the restaurant and is kept clean throughout the day. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for use. I stayed in Cabin 103 and it was perfect!! Ice cold a/c, instant hot water in the shower and the bathroom was remarkably large. No critters or mosquitoes were seen or felt. The host, Fredrick, was available to answer any questions and also showed me around the facility. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and will return on future trips. Thank you for the kind hospitality. 🙏

5 star service from Arun & Dilshan. Food perfect, cocktails very good especially Arrack Attic. Table was on the beach with lights and candles, it was perfect. Highly recommend, we will be back for sure! Thank you for your service!!!!!!!!😊

We stayed here for 5 nights, the room was nice, quite clean but full of mosquitoes. For the rest only negative points, the beach in front of the structure is terrible, full of dirt (don't trust the photos on the internet) Breakfast is agony, every morning it's always the same, nothing special and every morning at least 20 minutes of waiting for tea and another 20 for food. After two days of stay we realized we had made a mistake with the dates and so we informed the owner that we would have to leave one night early. We asked (without demanding it) for a refound for the last night and the owner assured us that he would refound us without problems. From there followed a thousand excuses and delays, in short he was just making fun of us, clever staff trying to cheat you, we are still waiting for the refound. In the days following our check out he reassured us via message that the refound would arrive, needless to say that after a day he disappeared and stopped answering the phone. It would have been better to say that they couldn't do it and since it was our mistake we would have understood. BAD experience
