We visited Minthis today for a spa day to celebrate my partner's birthday. While the location itself is stunning and naturally relaxing, our overall experience was unfortunately disappointing due to a lack of professional coordination and basic guest care. 1. Booking Miscommunication: We had specifically booked a massage for two people at the same time in the same room. Even though the booking process seemed to confirm this, we were surprised to find out upon arrival that our massages would be done separately. This was quite upsetting as it was a birthday gift intended for us to enjoy the experience together. 2. Lack of Basic Facilities: The most frustrating part, however, was the lack of preparation for the weather. It was raining heavily, and to our disbelief, the resort did not have umbrellas available to assist guests. We had planned to stay and have dinner at the restaurant, but because we got completely soaked walking between areas, we were forced to leave and cancel our dinner plans. Conclusion: For a high-end resort with premium pricing, the lack of professional foresight and basic amenities (like umbrellas or ensuring booking requests are met) is unacceptable. It’s a shame because the space is beautiful, but the service did not live up to the reputation or the cost.
