My friend and I booked two rooms. The day before our stay, my friend had a last-minute schedule change and couldn't make it, but the hotel wouldn't let us cancel one of the rooms, so I ended up paying for an extra room I didn't use. When I got there, I found out my room had no window, and the hotel staff weren't very friendly either.

Best stay we had in Vietnam so far. The staff was amazing and spoiled us. Everyone was so friendly. Housekeeping also did an amazing job, room was spotless. Breakfast was a huge variety and an egg station which were delicious. Gym was good and really nice they have a heated pool. Overall an amazing stay!

The hotel is old but well maintained. The service is good and the breakfast buffet is nice. We booked the Mountain View room but can’t see any view due to foggy weather. There is a viewing platform outside of the breakfast dining hall, you can see the beautiful Mountain View if the weather is good.

Bamboo Sapa Hotel is a fantastic place to stay in Sapa. The hotel offers stunning views of the mountains and valley, especially from the rooms and terrace. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere that fits perfectly with Sapa’s cool weather.

We stayed 3 nights in the Grand Room with Mountain View during the winter season. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There is hot water available 24/7 to warm our souls in the cold weather. The huge bath tub was also a bonus. Toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel and toothbrush/paste and bedroom slippers are also provided. The location of the hotel is superb. Sun Plaza is probably 7 to 8 mins walk away from the hotel (with some slope going up) but it is very manageable. There are many outdoor gear shops, good restaurants and massage parlours around the area and within walking distance (some as close as 1 to 2 mins of walking). Breakfast is served in typical buffet style and included some local dishes. Nothing very fancy but definitely good enough to fill your stomachs. The infinity pool is just right beside the restaurant and offers a very good view of the mountains. The hotel staff are all very friendly and the front desk speaks perfect english. They are always ready to serve your needs and you can arrange tours/spas with them. Overall, this hotel is definitely worth every penny spent and we would definitely recommend it!

Excellent stay! From the warm welcome at reception to the spotless, modern room, everything was exceptional. The breakfast buffet offered a huge variety of options, and the Wi-Fi was fast enough for work. Will definitely return!

I was a little disappointed with my stay at this hotel. I booked a standard room. The location of this room was on the third floor next to the meeting rooms , the staff kitchen .During my stay here there were constant functions and noise which was unbearable The room had poor ventilation ( only the heater apparently worked) and when I queried I was told the best they could do is give a fan. I did not enjoy my stay here
