Wyndham Tulum

Upon arrival the kitchen was lacking utensils but that was quickly taken care of. Food was very good, service was friendly, pool was perfect. Could use more umbrellas. The rooms were lovely, beds comfortable, linens fluffy and white. The grounds were well kept.

Cold water in the toilet and shower did not work at all. We were forced to take water from the pool with a tap to draw water to the toilet. Othewise nice hotel still in construction.

Located in the jungle.....with zero amenities other than overpriced food and drinks.....this hotel appears to be a bank repo run by Wyndham. Much about the site is unfinished...including the road leading up to the resort. As well....many rooms have no doorknobs...beds...or tvs. None of the rooms except the kitchenettes had a refrigerator....the sewer line to the main overflowed daily onto the road .....we had a water break that lead to several of us moving from one side to the other. Then we had a power failure. For the last three days we had no internet...no wifi...no tv.....and no compensation from the staff. As well.....they also fumigated during the day driving thousands of large cockroaches out onto the walks around the pools. The icing on the cake was that every employee....regardless of whether they were working on something or just standing around......every last one were in their phones. Everywhere.....even the manager as well as the chambermaid. This was THE worst resort I've ever stayed at in over 40 years of travels. Never ever stay at a Wyndham again.........never.

I know I booked a breakfast with this hotel but was advised otherwise at check in. There is little one can do at this point but I have learnt a valuable lesson to screenshot the booking on ******* in future. Other than that the hotel had great facilities. It did feel a bit isolated at night as there is no street lights into town.

We enjoyed the pool area the most. The rooms were nicely appointed but missing a fridge. The restaurant was too expensive so we didn't eat there.

hotel is new, nice pool good staff but the breakfast is overpriced. We had booked a suite but they were sold out and we were given a conncting room egual to a suite. that was good but still strange because it is a big hotel and only 15-20 rooms were occupied. To bad it was so empty and that's why we felt a bit lost.

New hotel, very clean and family friendly. The lobby was initially hard to find (driver had to pull under ramp and signs were lacking). Easy check in and hotel responded several times to answer questions and confirm room prior to arrival. We loved the pool area and the restaurant. We had dinner (the best pizza) and drinks (try meztcalita) Excellent food, drinks, and service. Bed was on the harder side, but pillows were great!

The water was unavailable 11 pm - 7 am for all the days we were there because they had some work going on. The hotel itself was nice and clean and staff was friendly but it was very empty, so if you’re wanting calm environment, this is the place. It’s also kinda central
