I would highly recommend the resort for anyone wanting to get away from crowds at larger resorts. The staff was amazing and accommodating. The food and the views were top notch. There is plenty to do especially for divers and fisherman.

Casa Cenote felt like paradise when I arrived - and it only got better! I travel a fair amount, and almost never return to a place I’ve been - but I may make an exception this time! The location and rooms were picture-perfect, the swimming great, the staff wonderful…

Room was very clean. Shower pressure was extremely weak. Beach was rocky and not swimmable. Had to walk a long distance to get to a good beach. Transportation is horrible. Taxies are a monopoly and charge outrageous prices to get anywhere. Overall, the property was overpriced for what you get.

If you are looking for a quiet romantic place with an extraordinary ocean view in Tulum, Casa Cenote should be a top consideration for your options

The price is competitive, rooms are clean, breakfast is good but served late (around 9:10 am). Staff is friendly, but communication is via WhatsApp and slow. Pool is small and very deep—not for kids. Beach is full of seaweed and not swimmable. Water in the room isn’t very hot and cuts off every 15 min; scarce supply. Daily cleaning if requested; the cleaning lady only speaks Spanish. Feels like an Airbnb—okay for adults to rest, not for families with small children.

Relaxed family-owned and run hotel with great restaurant on a private road north of Tulum town. Perfect secluded spot for a solo getaway or with a group. Beach in both directions has low key boutique hotels and private homes, feels like a private cove. Super comfortable beds, clean and well equipped rooms and bathroom. All meals at the restaurant were top notch and best food around by far. Will return!

What a relaxing vacation, with the Caribbean Sea just outside our door and a swimmable cenote 100 feet away. Our room was impeccably clean and our host and his staff were amazingly attentive. They can arrange lots of activities, including snorkeling and diving trips or transportation to the ruins, town or other activities. The food and drink at the outdoor restaurant was awesome. The live music they have every Sunday was our favorite!

My husband and I stayed at Casa Cenote for 3 nights in February, 2025. It was our anniversary and we were welcomed with drinks and flowers in our room. The facilities are very clean, which was great. The beds are new and comfortable (mattress maybe a little hard). The bathroom however, does need updating. Overall, the hotel is a little rustic and could use updating. The furniture is quite rudimentary, the painting a little sloppy. But the most amazing part is the views. You are right next to the water. It is so beautiful and relaxing. I can’t say enough about the location. It was magical. We loved the restaurant - while rather simple, food was fresh and delicious. We ate there probably 10 of 12 meals. The part of Tulum this hotel is located is very quiet, so if you want the big beach clubs and many restaurants and bars, this is not for you. There are some other hotels close by but they are all small boutique hotels. This suited us just fine. We really loved it. With some simple upgrades, it could be even better.
