Great hotel on the beach good facilities many activities to do great pool area nice large spacious rooms excellent all inclusive

This was my 7th trip toBahia resorts in the area…… Sadly the last few years since covid resort has went downhill….. Buffet food is subpar and reservation restaurants have lowered the quality and quantity of food and options….. Maintenance isnt keeping up with small fixes towel racks falling off walls broken tiles toilet seat falling off…… Resort is still beatiful and entertainment team is amazing. Sadly this will be my last visit because i loved this place.

Great amenities for the whole family, a lot happening all the time and the use of other resorts is a great bonus. The only downside is rooms could’ve been a little more updated (hotel needs to update the rooms (bathroom shower would leak onto the floor and there were some cracks in the floor). Otherwise very pretty and right by the beach if staying at Tulum.

Bahia principe explore tulum was a great experience for me and my family. Best part of booking through ******* was that we got an upgrade to pink belt which will allow us to use Akulum and sian-kaan for food, pool and drinks. Overall buffet and other area of Tulum are good but Akulum feels luxury. Staff was already ready to help and kids were having fun at kids club. If you are going to Bahia Principe resorts, book it through ******* for the VIP treatment.

The rooms were clean. Some staff was friendly and others were rude. The resort has plenty of room and lots of things to do. A couple of things that need improvement were being able to make reservations at the restaurants. We could not get into one the whole time we were here. We ate at the buffet. And the pools need to be open later than 6 pm. I would definitely return as for the most part it was a great trip

Was a great place for adults and teenagers. Staff were so nice and accommodating!!! Can’t wait to go back!!!

This was our first all inclusive. Buffet was impressive, lots of variety & kids loved endless Pina Coladas & ice cream. Shows in the evenings were a nice surprise and kids club events every day! We had trouble finding some of the posted events like Pilates class. Kids pools and areas have lots to do and everything is very clean and well taken care of. It was hard to find a quiet relaxing vibe. Wasn’t impressed with the beach area, got kicked out of some chairs in the only swimming part of the ocean, “Akumal guests only”. We had no idea! Just felt confused a lot, had trouble finding the buffet the first night after flying all day, they wouldnt let my kid in having swimsuit on. (I understand, but we literally had just shown up & didn’t know.) All the pools close at 6pm and there is no hot tub.

Hotel definitely needs to be updated. The hotel staff were great however, the hotel was very understaffed. It got pretty boring fast because the buffet was only one available for us at the Tulum location. The beach was definitely not good at all a lot of seaweed I love to spend my time on the beach and in the water in the ocean and that was not the case with this hotel. The upgraded rooms were actually pretty rundown still air conditioning was not great when I first got there I could really see myself net picking everything and overall I’ve stayed at other places like grand Palladium, Barcelo, and riu and this place was definitely at the bottom of the list. another huge problem was restaurants were very difficult to get a reservation for supposedly you’re supposed to reserve restaurants of the 10 days before you get there but we were unaware of this so we got there almost every restaurant was booked and there’s no wiggle room to get it later. Luckily, we got the Brazilian steakhouse for the last day of our trip and that was very good. like I mentioned the staff were actually great. It was just very understaffed. Lots of wait time for drinks if you’re looking for an all-inclusive hotel I would only stay there if the financial differences were a lot lower than comparable resorts
