Amazing accomodation!

The area is nice, the beach of the hotel is pretty. The amenities are very limited, you pretty much get a room, access to the beach and that’s it. Place in clean, good option if you want a low budget place. The staff is very nice and responsive.

Ether is a true three-star experience with good, clean rooms and immediate beach access. There's no street signage, which can make it difficult to find. The highlight is the staff, who are friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They even managed to call someone in to help when our rental car wouldn't start as we went to leave. If you want a four star experience, try Nest about 100 yards down the road, but Ether is certainly good for the price.

WARNING! I booked a reservation with a flexible rate (which is refundable) for March and I have been trying to cancel it for about 3 weeks now. They will not respond nor refund according to their policy. There is no communication by phone. I've communicated via whatsapp messages and they keep asking me to be patient. I would stay away! Very upsetting.

It felt like the perfect place to restore my heart and soul. The surroundings were serene, the energy grounding, and every corner invited stillness and reflection. One of my favorite parts was being just steps away from a breathtaking yoga studio—truly a sanctuary for the mind and body. I also loved how close it was to charming little coffee shops, where I could sip something warm and connect with the local vibe. And if you’re craving a bit of fun, the party scene isn’t far at all… just close enough to enjoy without disturbing the tranquility of the space. The service was incredible. The staff made me feel at home from the moment I arrived—welcoming, attentive, and genuinely kind. Ether Hotel is more than a place to stay… it’s an experience, a pause, a breath. I’m leaving with a restored spirit and memories that feel like medicine. Highly recommend. ✨🌴

We had such a lovely time at Ether. It feels like real tulum, tucked away on the beach, private and perfect. The staff was excellent , the food and drinks were delicious.. and the rooms super comfortable and well done. It was perfect for the entire family. And very close to all other hotels and restaurants.. so can walk mostly everywhere. We will definitely be back!

Me and my partner booked our stay with at ether hotel for a week. It was my birthday trip and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They messaged often to check in and make sure that we were happy with the room and if it needed cleaning or if we needed any help with booking on site Holistic healing services. The room itself was absolutely beautiful, very clean and it was very nice having the option of a fan as well as AC. We had a few times where the remote for the AC wasn't working for us, but they were very quick to fix it and help us. The resort itself is fairly new and has so many unique parts to the piece of property itself. It was very nice having a bar/restaurant sitting area during the week and service to the beach as well was a cherry on top. We utilized the piece of property to the full extent and they were also very accommodating when it came to booking a full service taxi to and from the airport for us. They don't yet have a sign on the exterior, so finding it was a little tricky, but I assume they have that In the works! They sent detailed information when it came to finding the place and wifi, parking etc. Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Ether Tulum enough. If you are looking for a good and reasonably priced place to stay on the beach, look no further. The location was perfect, with private beach access and road access, next to everything you could possibly need or want. It was quiet, peaceful, and incredibly relaxing, with a clean room on a very well-kept property. The staff were so friendly and made the stay wonderful.

I didn’t want to leave & cannot wait to go back! The staff went above and beyond for us during our stay; 10/10 super friendly & attentive service. The entry to the hotel is very unassuming which I appreciated. Despite the party vibe outside of the hotel, I slept fairly well. If you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs & an eye mask. I stayed in Astra 1 which is a little less rustic than the other options on the property. The food and beverages were very good, and there is a convenience store & a coffee shop that is open earlier nearby if needed. We did lose power one morning, but it was resolved within the hour of staff receiving notice. This is a great stay for people who are well traveled/lower maintenance. Ether is an absolute GEM.
