After a beautiful drive through the country side, we enjoyed a delicious dinner on the outdoor but still from rain and too much sunshine covered terrace. The food was very good but you have to get used to the quite informal waiters who act very much 'at eye level' which is fine but a bit unusual.

Wir waren als Arbeiter im Resti und das Essen war sehr gut. Personal war auch sehr freundlich. Die Portionen sind viel zu klein für Arbeiter. Arbeiter die Handwerklich hart arbeiten haben sehr hunger. Die gleiche Suppe jeden Tag ist irgendwie nicht so fein jeden Tag.

Auf unserer Radtour suchten wir ein Hotel im Bereich Turbenthal und fanden den Gasthof Gyrenbad. Wir sind begeistert von der herrlichen ruhigen Lage und dem schönen Ambiente, ein stilvolles altes Hotel, sanft geschmackvoll renoviert. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch die Küche ist zu empfehlen.

Der Gasthof ist schön gelegen und auch etwas Besonderes in seinem Ambiente. Das Essen war soweit ok. Der Service hingegen hat mich enttäuscht. Unser Tisch wurde mehrheitlich als Abstellfläche für den vollen 6er-Tisch daneben benutzt. Salz und Pfeffer mussten wir 3x bestellen bis es dann gebracht wurde. Und dies noch ohne einer Entschuldigung. Überhaupt war der Umgangston eher "Beiz" als Landgasthof. Da würde ich schon mehr Wertschätzung erwarten. Hier stimmt das Niveau einfach noch nicht, oder wir hatten einen schlechten Tag erwischt. Kann ja mal vorkommen. Aber für uns lohnt sich ein neuer Besuch wohl nicht.
