Novotel Torino Corso Giulio Cesare

Nice enough hotel but located way too far from the centre if you’re relying on public transport. If you have your own car then it’s probably ok. Typical fairly basic Novotel hotel room. Relatively low occupancy when we stayed so didn’t notice any neighbour noise. Tram line was undergoing repair work when we were there which made it very inconvenient to get to the hotel.

The hotel in itself is not bad. It has a Nice and Clean lobby that feels inviting but it is the service and the lack of information that makes this hotel something to avoid. It is advertised that there is an in house pool that is available to all guest during the stay, however the pool was closed the weekend we stated WITHOUT any prior information given. We double checked on the website and found that they had not stated this on their site. This was a dealbreaker for us and had this information been given earlier we would have found an another hotel to stare at. And if you want to quickly get from 6th floor to first floor, you can forget that with these elevators. You will be standing there for up to 15 minutts without it even arriving. At one pointer the elevator stopped with us inside, waited one minute before going up, then down. Dont let the cheap advertising deceive you, you can find a better place elsewhere.

Good enough service for the price paid.
