Quality Inn & Suites Tuscaloosa Near University

This was an Alabama football weekend so the hotels were all charging exorbitant fees. We get that. $400 a night here, but the quality of the room was horrific. Zero pride of ownership at this hotel. I don’t expect the Ritz Carlton but the dirty, dilapidated, dark room was so depressing it made us almost sleep in our car instead. Right after we checked in we went and bought Lysol spray. The walls haven’t been painted in years. There was an old fluorescent light bulb just sitting on the bathroom counter. The furniture is scratched and filthy. No coffee maker, no hangers. The TV was tilting sideways. See photos but these were just a few I “could” have taken. The only, I mean only positive was the the AC worked really well.

The air works great and the walls are thick. Good place. Heads up about them selling out this weekend would a been nice with a chance to secure the room I’ve been in for weeks but oh well I guess.

Loud outside. People all around property.. racing their engines up late night while I was trying to sleep..

It’s a decent place to stay for the price. The rooms are fairly clean but they need to be updated some. Towels are hard like they are not being washed properly. But all and all it’s okay. I use it when I just want to get away and clear my head.

Hotel did not respond to noise complaints that continued from 12:30 am until 3:45 am. We complained to office, it continued

Had a great experience..Very clean and nice staff.I recommend this hotel to anyone needing a decent room for decent price..Also located near stores and highway..

terrible hotel. they have bed bugs and are not willing to accommodate customers. refused to give me a refund once the bed bugs were reported.

Everything was fine. Staff was very helpful. Was close to restaurants and the event we were going to. Will definitely check in again if we are in the area again. The room was very clean and it was also spacious! Beds we clean and comfortable. Thanks for making our trip great..

Do not stay here. They are filthy dirty and they are a complete rip off fraudig the customers. They cancelled my reservation a week late with no explanation and when I called to ask why they cancelled, they only told me that they cancelled everyones reservation for the weekend because its a home football game weekend and they charging more for the room rates. Their business practice is clearly illegal and plan on reporting them to the BBB as well
