We received very good service , views are breathtaking, staff were friendly and helpful, the rondawel was clean (good housekeeping). the quality of the mattress however, is very poor (mattress needs to be replaced asap) this actually spoiled the breakaway for us. Please also invest in a non-slip shower mat as the shower floor is very slippery (although it is esthetically pleasing). Please consider to update/invest in new shower heads and the vanity cabinet. I would otherwise recommend Magoebaskloof Mountain Lodge !!

This was a three night stopover between the Natal Drakensberg and the Kruger National Park. Location is good on the main road (but very little traffic after dark so no disturbance) and there are great views of surrounding forests and mountains. We dined in the restaurant a couple of times - great service, good food and the local Zwakala beer is recommended. Good pool. We saw purple crested louries in the trees. Good base for excursions including Magoebaskloof Canopy Tours rafting and zip wires (both great fun). The self catering equipment was a little basic but OK.

The overall place looks so very good. The kids enjoyed the summing pool, trampoline. I liked the garden, hoping to come back some other time.

The bed needs to be upgraded. Its on bricks and very uncomfortable. A new bed would make the place nicer and a microwave in the rooms.
