Dream Apartments St Thomas Hall

Apartment was great, very clean and in a good location. Only problem was that i didn’t realise until I got there was that I had to put down a deposit. I think that this should have been part of the details when I booked. I was informed that it would only be put down as a pending amount but I was charged. Other than that I enjoyed the dream apartments and will stay again

This place is an absolute joke, on arrival there was no free parking as it is stated on the website that there is, when we got into our apartment the tv was not working and the hot water did not work, tried to call the company 5+ times and no answer. Loud music all night. There is a  security guard on the premises but was only seen once during the night. At 3:15 am someone was banging on our door intoxicated and it made me feel very unsafe. Did not end up staying the second night as there was nothing nice about this place and I just wanted to get away from it.

The apartment could have been cleaner , no hair dryer as stated, curtains a waste of time they don’t keep any light out , it’s on a very busy road , bin men at 6am , other people in apartments banging doors all the time , more banging of doors between 11pm til well after midnight, a very noisy place to stay , sadly wouldn’t recommend.

Last December we booked a 1 week family stay for the February midterm break. This was to tie in with a week's work experience by one of our children in Belfast close to the Lisburn Road. 2 days before our arrival I received an email informing me that the apartment was unavailable due to 'maintenance issues'. No phone call, no offer of alternative accommodation...... I rang the contact telephone number and got the same token apologies. The staff member did try and offer some alternative accommodation options - he was looking up the internet whilst talking to me. The level of service was terrible. My advice is not to book a stay here otherwise you could find yourself looking for alternative accommodation 48 hours before your arrival.

ONLY ONE WORD TO DESCRIBE THIS WAS TERRIBLE We informed you that there was 5 adults and 1 child aged 10, in a 2 bedroom apartment I was informed on the phone that there would be a sofa and then an extra bed. When we arrived we were on the top floor room 17 which we were told we were upgraded to the penthouse which was not the penthouse. My mum who is 70 which we told you had to talk up and down them stairs. On arrival the sofa had a sheet on it and 1 pillow so myself had to sleep on the floor in the living room which to be honest was rotten. The apartment itself was not up to standard at all we paid £270 for it and I can tell you that we will never he back. When departing at 10am this morning someone throw a tin of beer of the window and nearly hit my mother. This was meant to be a special occasion for my mother's birthday and it was a horrible nights stay. I found the apartment itself very very dirty, the carpet was rotten and very sticky, the shower was in a horrible state the drawers in the freezer were horrible. Over over the apartment was not CLEAN AT ALL I emailed the hotel about 10 times and rang about 5 times to this date the 25th October 2023 no-one has ever got back to me

We have booked a room on June 20th 2023 for sept 16th and we’re from the south and we got a message on *********** not even a phone call to say they had cancelled it due to over booking which is there negligence! Then I called to see if I could speak to manager as they just cancelled didn’t offer any other solution was told get on *********** and look it’s last min ended up paying extra for a room else double the price as it was literally 15 mins before we arrived absolutely ruined our trip! Stay far away from these don’t know a thing about customer services and also clearly can’t communicate absolutely shocking leave people in a position they did. Icing on cake I messaged at 8am to see could I check in early and was told it was 20 extra then to just have it cancelled a joke

Where to start?? Everything was dreadful. Damage to furniture, damage to the fabric of the building, rusty microwave, burnt carpets, smell of smoke and cigarette butts on window ledge, marks on the walls, dents and marks on the radiators, broken door stops, hole in the ceiling, polyfilla in walls, ripped lino on kitchen floor, AND once booked and onsite, but before access code to building and apartment given a deposit of £100 demanded. BUT with the amount of damage already to the apartment how could they tell if any new damage had occurred. There was too much damage to catalogue here, but have photographed most. We arrived for a weekend away. First apartment was disgusting and we asked to move so were allocated a different apartment, but that was little different. Spent enormous amount of time recording all the damage already present. Did not want to stay but it was too late in the day to book into another hotel. Telephoned the company to cancel the following day, and booked a hotel for the Sunday night. The lounge stank of smoke, with the evidence of cigarettes and cigars on the window ledge left there. The doors are on a chain and close automatically, but bang shut, hence we were kept awake all night by banging doors. The apartments are also located on a busy arterial road into the city so it is also a noisy location. But over all these apartments have been made and decorated with cheap materials that just do not stand daily use. It is all poorly maintained. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE - You will REGRET IT.

When i first saw some of the reviews i was abit spectical but i can honestly say these reviews dont merit the actual apartment. Communication with the company was quick and easy no issues with getting the key etc. Yes the apartment did havea few cosmetic issues like burnt mark on the carpet few marks on the wall but i took photos soon as we got in the apartment and sent them to the company via email just so they knew they were already like thay so was no issue with my deposit. The apartment is ideally located just outside of belfast with easy frequent buses both ways and plenty of takeaways and shops near by. Yes was abit noisy on a night because few apartments in the building and the doors slam shut quite loud but that is expected even a normal hotel you would get few loud noises. Overall i was happy with the apartment im not a picky person as long as the apartment was clean and tidy and no major issue with the company which they were brilliant thats all i want. I also got my deposit back the day after we left which was great 👍

The stay at this property was appalling and the customer service afterwards non-existent. I was staying with my young family (2 kids under 10) and a fire a fire alarm went off in the middle of night - we stood for over an hour and half outside with others and no one answered the out of office contact number for this large apartment block property. In the end I personally phoned the fire brigade, who came and had to check out the whole block before letting us in (it was after 3 am when we go in). From speaking to several people who had been staying there we found out the alarm had gone off on multiple occasions in the previous weeks. I spoke to the head of the fire team when he came out and he told me they had personally informed the property on several occasions that the fire alarm was defective. He advised me to leave the property as it was not reliable and breaking H&S with the knowingly defective alarm. I left the next morning, contacting the morning staff. The person I spoke to was apologetic and acknowledged that it had been going off on many occasions and wasn't fixed, saying he would get a manager to phone me back. They never did and they never responded to mails. When I phoned back on another occasion they pretended to get cut off. I have written requesting reimbursement - they didn't reimburse any of the stay. Nor did I receive even a response of apology. A very unprofessional place and shocking treatment of guests. I did not feel safe staying there knowing they failed to fix something as basic as a fire alarm when told to do so by the fire brigade.
