Swiss-Belcourt Makassar

I genuinely like almost everything about Swiss-Belcourt Makassar, especially the location. It is very convenient and practical. Right next to the hotel there is a laundry service that you can easily use for a small fee, which is very helpful for longer stays. Within easy walking distance, you can also find the legendary Sop Konro, one of the best in Makassar, which is a big plus for anyone who enjoys local food. If you feel like taking a walk, Pantai Losari is only about eight to ten minutes away, making it very easy to enjoy the seaside atmosphere in the morning or evening without needing any transport. Overall, the area feels lively yet comfortable, and everything you need is close by. I would definitely consider staying here again. However, the breakfast is the one area that could be improved. It feels quite boring and repetitive, especially if you stay more than one night. I think it would be much better if the hotel offered a different breakfast concept, perhaps with more variety or some warm soup options and local comfort dishes to make it more interesting and enjoyable. Despite this, Swiss-Belcourt Makassar still offers very good value for its location and convenience, and I would return again, hopefully with a more exciting breakfast experience next time.

The room is clean compare to others at the similar price. But unfortunately we got the room without window. Location is very convenient and available spot for parking. Will stay at this place for next vacation. Recommend. Next will ask the room with window

Staff FO jutek banget, not very welcome person, no smile at all, I booked non smoking room but I got smoking room, the floor very dirty there's ash of cigarettes

Good value for money, but there are problems with cleanliness, on the 5th attempt we were checked into a room with clean linens.

A very nice stay. The room is big. They are having some renovations so it should only get better. Bed, shower and breakfast and all good. They have quite a variety of dishes during breakfast including some Indonesian savoury cakes. That was nice. There are very few convenience store options close to teh hotel. ISo if you want to get some things, it is better to buy them on the way back to the hotel.

Spacious room but air conditioning need to be upgrade or serviced. Front office staff @ miss Icha is nice and friendly. The morning breakfast was okay with multiple kind of menu.

Overall, the room was clean, however, the shower tap was broken and water pressure was too slow. AC was leaking, noisy and couldn't produce cool air so felt like a normal noisy fan, as a result, there were a few mosquitoes biting me all night and day. There seems to be a construction work happening on the second floor and I could hear a very annoying hammering noise from 08.30am until evening which was so frustrating. Lastly, there was a very loud music heard all time which was also annoying and frustrating. The lady receptionist was nice so thank you for the nice behaviour.
