Beach Villa Ukulhas

Ukulhas has a beautiful long bikini beach, many restaurants and small shops to shop. I recommend the West Sands Hotel - really great. There is a lot of construction work on the island at the moment but I would say it will be great in a few weeks. It is a local island but you have a large selection of services that you don't have on a hotel island. On the reef next to the jetty there are lots of sharks - big and small - and turtles when snorkeling - really great.

Perfect in every way. Ismail is a perfect host, who meets all expectations, is very accommodating. The hotel is perfect, the room is impeccable, the bedding is very good, the location perfect, the size is correct. I will definitely come back. For me the best value for money in Ukulhas. The room is large, the bedding was good, but the bathroom could use some updating. Remember, you're staying in a local B&B, so don't expect a hotel. The host is helpful and friendly. The musty smell is due to the humidity in the air and fades with the air conditioning.

For the price, the hotel offers spacious rooms with private wooden doors and courtyards, providing adequate accommodation. The mattresses are decent. There are only three bungalows in total, so the butlers are there to serve you; they are very friendly and treat you like friends. Ukulhas' beaches and sea are beautiful, even during the rainy season, after a full day of downpours. Sunscreen is essential most of the time, as there are often clouds on the sunrise and sunset skyline. There are many mosquitoes, but the mosquito repellent sold on the island is cheap and very effective, completely keeping you dry. The island has shops, restaurants, dive shops, schools, and a hospital, which is very convenient. Sunscreen, various daily necessities, and snacks are all available. There are people night fishing at the pier. The roads have many puddles, but that's part of the experience, very characteristic of a local island.
