Coral Villa Ukulhas

Coral Villa changed the name to Arista Villa on booking already. This property has huge potential as it is very close to the beach and behind really good coffee shop. It’s got lovely garden and possibility to sit in-front of your room even when rain. That’s the reason why I choose it … Unfortunately it is extremely overpriced for what it is and there is so many negatives: - Owner does not speak English at all - room, especially bathroom is NOT clean properly - room 104 have problem with electricity, there must be some some issue between lights and AC ad the noise was absolutely horrible all night. Also not possible to use light above sink for this issue - swapping sand garden between 6-7 is something what no one wants to hear - no one on reception but every day some locals in the garden during the day and I didn’t have clue who are they and why are they having meal there - no one asked me for my ID so I am sure they does not pay taxes - no one in the property when I was checking out - no one is taking rubbish away and there are no bins where you can take it - the reality is totally different than photos which they present online - mattress is extremely hard (and I mean seriously hard) so not comfortable at all - water is not brought daily to your room as it should (they left small bottle only once on the table) so if you are away all days good luck - shower is blocked also water doesn’t ho away for very long time Some guests left after first night. Unfortunately I have paid for 4 nights but then I didn’t extend and move to other guest house as $95 (price in the house, via booking is even more!) didn’t worth it It is very low cost accomplishing for very high price

We had a wonderful stay at Coral Queen Villa. The room is very spacious and comfortable (we had a family room because we were 2 adults and 2 children). We had an extra large double bed, one normal size double bed and a couch. D. Pani cleaned our room very carefully and surprised us with nice arrangements on the bed. The location is excellent with a private bikini beach area with white sand and turqiose clean water just a few steps from the villa. D. Pani prepared every morning our sunbeds, mattresses and beach towels. The breakfast was tasty, they offer a few variants to choose from one day before, for example traditional Maldivian breakfast, continental breakfast, American breakfast with a plate of fresh fruits. D. Pani served our kids even with chocolate spread and warm milk. The internet was working well in all areas of the villa, we had a smart TV in the room with Netflix account to watch. I'd like to say a special "Thank you" to D. Pani who was always there to help us. He was very attentive to our needs and was always nice with us. He also helped us by ordering lunch and dinner when we asked him and with the delivery of the order to the villa's garden or to the beach. D.Pani exceeded our expectations and we are very thankful to him. And also a special "Thank you" for Ms Sajoo who was a great host and provided all the information we needed to enjoy our stay on the island. At arrival she welcomed us with cold juice, refreshing towels and offered a toy turtle as a souvenir for our kids. Ms Sajoo arranged us the speed boat to and from Ukulhas to the airport so we didn't needed to worry about the transfer. In conclusion we had a great holiday at Coral Queen Villa on wonderful island of Ukulhas .

So. It all began even before staying. Made a booking and also asked a question regarding the floating bars. The response: "WHAT DO YOU THINK" To which i replied with how rude i thought the reply was...only to be bombarded with a barrage of abuse. Absolutely disgracefully rude. Perhaps the staff should enjoy some bacon it may change their attitude's. So. Don't even bother. Seems they only enjoy having a certain sort as guests. Absolute disgrace.
