Ulaanbaatar Boutique hotel

The hotel is very close to Sukhbaatar Square, and the building has a historic feel to it, but the facilities inside are well-maintained. Just remember to bring your toothbrush! When I checked in, nobody mentioned anything about toiletries. After showering, I realized there was no toothbrush. I called the front desk, and they said they don't provide them. The convenience store downstairs didn't have any toothbrushes, either because they were sold out or just didn't carry them. I had to get dressed and walk about 300 meters in sub-zero temperatures to another convenience store just to buy one.

The room must have been renovated recently, as there was a very strong smell of fresh paint. The heating was scorching hot, but the window was drafty, making the room cold. The breakfast, however, was excellent. When checking out, I mentioned it to the front desk, and they said I should have called them earlier to request a room change, but it was too late by then, and I didn't bother asking for a new room.

The room was very clean, the bed was super big, and the desk was even bigger – my absolute favorite. This is my top choice for business trips. I've traveled to many places, and this hotel is one of my favorites. Great value for money!
