Called in for a drink after climbing An Teallach and decided to stay for an evening meal. Nice friendly atmosphere and welcoming staff. Mixed clientele...some people staying as guests, dressed smartly, others just off the hills in walking gear. Only 2 veggie options: Margherita pizza or the veggie special which was a fabulous pastry roulade...brie with spinach had just run out, and the new special was chick pea with chard and butternut squash roulade. Whatever main course, the vegetables were all the same....roasted veg and fancy potatoes...all very nice. There was going to be live music at 8pm...room set up with guitars and mandolins and various percussion instruments which apparently the guests are encouraged to play. We should have stayed but had a way to travel. Nice views from the window. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Expected much more for the expensive price. Lovely quiet setting with fantastic views of little loch broom. That’s as positive as I can get. The hotel is dire. In need of a full refurb. Old fashioned, fake flowers, dusty & very tired. If you can remember green bathroom suites, & you want to relive it, here is the place to come. They couldn’t even bother putting the loo roll into a holder. I wouldn’t come back.

What a lovely little hotel situation at the base of Little Loch Brome. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It is a small family run hotel; room is very clean. Yes, it is dated, but that is all part of the experience and charm of the hotel and area. The food was delicious, especially the pork belly. Very nice breakfast as well. We were there on a Friday night when the “kitchen party” in the dining room was taking place and it just added to the whole experience. The owner works very hard to make sure you enjoy your time there.

A superb stay: a warm welcome which continued throughout our stay in a cosy, immaculately clean and well-equipped hotel. The location is exceptional and Gareth and staff could not have been more accommodating towards our school party. The food was homemade and delicious and, after a long day outdoors, the generous portions were much appreciated! I highly recommend this as a stay or as a base for a Highlands holiday and hope to return again.

The bed was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. However, you could hear the men in the next room, and there was no tv to drown them out. I could only have a cold shower in the morning. As for the decor, they need to spend some of the inflated price they're charging people to update the 80s decor.

Excellent location on the edge of a loch. Spacious room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very efficiently organised and food good. Bar was comfortable and pleasant. Service was good. However, the general appearance of the place leaves a lot to be desired. It looks worn and past its best. The avocado bathroom suite with an overhead shower in the bath was a real throwback to an almost forgotten age. My biggest complaint is that it is grossly overpriced for what it is.

Arrived late on a Friday evening. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. We had an overnight stay in our campervan and drank some 🥃 at their bar. We arrived too late for an evening meal. A great asset, thanks.

Hotel was basic but cosy, the staff were very helpful and friendly which was very welcoming. The hotel rooms were fairly basic but larger than an average hotel room which i quite liked and it had decent sized bathroom also. The food was just ok, nothing amazing but it kept us going for our journey. The hotel was easily found and had a small carpark on the opposite side of the road of the hotel. I would happily stay here again.

At least 30 years out of date with very poor decoration and old furniture, avocado bathroom with in-bath shower that is quite dangerous for elderly guests. No tv, not even a radio. Not particularly clean and the food was mediocre. Travelled around Scotland for a week stopping in a different hotel each night. All except this one were exceptional in comparison yet this was the most expensive! Booked through *********** and complained bitterly but they have no interest. Won’t use them ever again and certainly wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.
