Happy Valley Residence Unawatuna

The villa is located in a quiet area, away from the tourist areas. It's best to get to and from the beach by tuk-tuk or motorbike. The location is quiet, surrounded by nature. A small road leads to the ocean and the train station nearby. A small supermarket is half a kilometer away. The hosts are very friendly. Breakfast is included. It's a great place to stay and relax.

I stayed here for 11 days. I loved it! There was internet, so I was able to work. I took a tuk-tuk to the sea. The room was clean, no bugs. I really liked the shower! The owners were very kind and responsive. Breakfast was usually: eggs, sausages, bread with butter and jam. Fruit options included delicious papaya, pineapple, bananas, and watermelon. There's a yoga studio nearby; on the way there, I saw a peacock and a cute little monitor lizard. There are also cute cats and dogs at the accommodation. Excellent value for money, I recommend it.

Wonderful and kind hosts! Thank you! The room is cozy, the bed is comfortable, and there's a huge outdoor shower, so to speak. It was great! The breakfasts are delicious and filling, the fruit is fresh, and the coffee is amazing! In the courtyard, you can see peacocks, monkeys, and lizards. Two cute cats and a dog also live in the house; they guard the house (she's very kind and affectionate). As for the distance to the ocean, it's about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace; you just walk in a straight line and reach the ocean (though you have to try to find the ocean access point because hotels and cafes don't let you just walk there; you have to buy something). Supermarkets are also a 15-minute walk away, but there aren't many in Unawatuna itself. The guesthouse area is quiet, cozy, and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. Overall, I recommend staying here if you enjoy walking (although tuk-tuks and taxis are also readily available).

Hospitable hosts, a clean, spacious room with air conditioning, and an open-ceiling bathroom with a view of the sky. Breakfast included sausages, scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, toast, jam, and fruit. Thank you so much. I ordered laundry for 100 rupees per item. In rubles, that's 30 rubles per item. I went to yoga nearby and fed turtles on the beach!

Well, what do you write when you are completely satisfied? It is highly recommended and that is not just something I say. I have seen a lot in this world! But here hospitality meets cleanliness and functionality. The breakfast is great, the surroundings are as you would wish in Sri Lanka.
