Prime Time Hotel

For its class, this hotel deserves the highest rating. The staff is beyond praise—they'll help with any questions, speak excellent English, and offer cold juice upon arrival. The rooms are comfortable and cleaned daily. The views from the room and terrace are stunning, with monkeys, chipmunks, and monitor lizards, turtles in the stream, birdsong, and peacocks—it's pure Indiana Jones, with the ocean and jungle right next to the hotel. The breakfasts are delicious, with plenty of fruit daily and not too spicy. The hotel manager, Shamile, is a wonderful woman and a true hospitality professional. We've stayed at the hotel twice now and were very pleased.

The hotel is terribly dirty, starting from the reception area – there's trash, dirt, and a stench everywhere, the furniture looks like it's from a garbage dump. The room – the bed linens are stained and torn, the canopy bed is filthy, and so are the towels; the toilet doesn't work every time, the faucet is separate from the sink, there are ants, and the worst part – NO HOT WATER during your entire stay. The staff just shrugs and smiles. The staff is terribly slow, constantly messing things up, and instead of cleaning, they sit around in the filth all day. *The air conditioner (in the room I was assigned) is positioned so that it blows directly onto the bed and can't be adjusted. There's practically no light in the room, even during the day – very small windows somewhere near the ceiling (which also contributes to the constant high humidity), and the lighting in the room consists of a few weak bulbs.

Today is December 30th, and we're staying here. The hotel is suitable for those who aren't picky. The breakfast is quite good, they give you fruit, and the rooms are average. But we sleep soundly here. The kitchen will cook you a seafood dish from the market for a reasonable price. The staff is polite and friendly. Beach towels are available. The beach is 50 meters from the hotel. There are plenty of restaurants and fruit stands nearby.
