We went to Angel Beach Club based on positive reviews and social media, but the experience was extremely disappointing. We were the only table for dinner, seated indoors with no atmosphere. Staff were sitting behind us on laptops doing paperwork, and one staff member was even asleep in the corner-completely unprofessional. Service was poor. Our server had no knowledge of the menu and kept repeating “order pizza” without being able to recommend anything specific. The food was equally underwhelming. The Adana kebab came with just two small pieces of lamb on burnt flatbread. When we raised this, Executive Chef Sameera came to the table but instead of resolving the issue professionally, he challenged the feedback and insisted the dish was fine. He offered a replacement with only one piece since we had already started eating, which came across as dismissive and arrogant. The chicken gyro wrap was dry, overloaded with fries, and had very little chicken. To top it off, we were presented with the bill without asking, while we were still planning to order more-clearly being rushed out. This place has potential, but the current team, including the handling by Executive Chef Sameera, falls far below expected hospitality standards. Urgent management attention is needed.
