Sani Valley Nature Lodges

We came down from the Grand Traverse early to escape some weather, and the Staff at Sani were welcoming and accommodating. They made sure we made the most of our time in the valley.

It was lovely to be at the foot of the berg surrounded by natural beauty. Accommodation was very comfortable, the check-in process smooth and a warm welcome from Silindile and Marge. I can highly recommend 3 nights in this lovely place

My husband and I had an amazing honeymoon at Sani Valley Nature Lodges 10 years ago. And when our anniversary approached, we knew we had to go back. We had an amazing time and it took us right back to our first experience. You immediately start to relax when you drive the scenic route to reception, because it is just so beautiful. Of course the massages and dinners help too! It felt like we had a two-week holiday in the span of 5 days! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The lakeside cottage is extremely well laid out and set up. We had everything we needed, and more!

We had an amazing time with Marge md Dave the best hosts. We swan in the lake, walked up the mountain, went up Sani Pass nd had Sundowners at the lookout. It was a truely memorable 4 days with wonderful breakfast and dinners bought to our lodge. My parents told me it was their best holiday ever.

This is our 4th time visiting Sani Valley Lodge and it is still one of our favourite destinations in the world. If you want food for the soul and to leave replenished, this spot is for you. Tranquility takes on a new meaning and kayaking on the lake at sunrise or sunset is truly a magical experience. We were lucky enough to see a super moon rise over the lake while we were there and it took our breath away. Definitely choose the catering option - the food is delicious and gets delivered to your room. The log cabin is cosy and come with firewood. There are several hikes on the property and it is always exciting to see the antelope and zebra on your walk. If you want to get away from everything and to forget all your worries, book Sani Valley Lodge!

An amazing stay from start to finish. The lodge was tranquil and peaceful, the rooms were perfect and the staff were absolutely amazing. There were no issues during our stay and everyone was helpful. Would highly recommend if you want a quiet, peaceful stay in nature

The relaxation begins as soon as you drive through the gate and through an avenue of eucalyptus trees. There was then a lovely warm welcome at reception from Silindile and Marge. We stayed in one of the lakeside cabins and we were blown away by the views and the peace. Dinner was served in our cabin and the fire lit making it a really cozy evening. Breakfast was served in the boathouse, which again has the most fabulous views. The food was all delish and we were very well looked after. We also had a massage, which was honestly one of the best I’ve had. We would highly recommend Sani Valley Nature Lodges and if we’re ever back this way, would definitely stay again.

It was one of the best visits to the Himeville area, and we have had many. The only thing that needs repairs is the jetty in front of the 1st chalet.
