The hotel staff were very welcoming, the room was clean and bed was very comfortable! We hired e-bikes and this was a fantastic experience - amazing 4 hour loop including peak, lakes and waterfall -wonderful experience, and was no fuss at all for the hotel staff very easy and uncomplicated to hire. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional!

We stayed here on a tour with Edible Destinations. We had so much fun with our group of nine travelers! I believe this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at! The staff was very nice and the location was beautiful. We loved the little town and our hikes in the area. The food was an expertly prepared, farm to table experience. We were there during dandelion season and learned of the many ways to serve them. I personally could have had less dandelions. Another tip for improvement would be to add a shelf or table in the shower as there was no place to set your razor or shampoo if you preferred to use your own instead of the pump provided. Overall though a great stay!!

It is difficult to describe in words the feeling that the holiday at Gasthof Zum Hirschen left in us. It was a week of peace, excellent food, familiarity and hospitality. The snowfall that welcomed us had its role as a spectacle, but the people did the rest. Mirko's advice and welcome, Ingrid's cuisine (even if talking about "cuisine" is an understatement...) and Edith's friendliness helped convince us that we will have to return. The torchlight processions and excursions organized by Mirko gave us the opportunity to get to know places and people in the small village in an atmosphere of joy and friendliness. We won't forget them. The new and tastefully furnished structure also made the breaks following the walks in the mountains pleasant.

Not a simple stay, but a magical experience. Senale is a fairytale town set in a mountain context waiting to be discovered. The Kofler-Mocatti family, owners and managers of the Al Cervo hotel, make every hotel guest feel at home.... If your need is the search for harmony between man and nature, this is the right place.

The upper Val di Non was a real discovery, like this magnificent hotel, we discovered it in 2017 and since then we have always come every year to spend at least a week to recharge our biological batteries. The Kofler-Mocatti family manages the structure in an optimal manner, with every type of service, without being intrusive, with sincere friendliness. The hotel is located in an area with very little traffic, surrounded by woods and green meadows, with many routes to follow on foot or by bicycle (which can be rented in the hotel, even electric ones). The catering part, from breakfast to dinner, is a unique sensorial experience, with local raw materials and research, handed down through generations, on medicinal herbs, flowers and plants that grow in the area. You will be amazed by the taste, the presentation of the dishes and their food philosophy that will captivate you from the first taste. Highly recommended!!!

It is impossible to be less than melancholy when leaving this establishment. I came back for the second time and it's always like being with family. Edith and her family manage every aspect of your stay with warmth and obsessive attention, to the point that you leave happily spoiled. Rooms with sober furnishings and perfect silence are ideal, ideally bordered by clear mountain skies to be enjoyed through the large skylights. Ingrid's cuisine is always fun and excellent in its ingredients and results, which enhances the excellent local products to make elegant and very, very satisfying solutions: the generous and rich breakfast, which always starts with an invigorating elixir and always includes a cooked egg every day differently, the stay alone is worth it, even if the gourmet dinners themselves are a large and always refined meal; Edith, tireless and very sweet, knows how to give excellent advice and meeting her every morning is like returning to a happy childhood. Mirko, the property's true Gastgeber, has a Delphic wisdom that will reassure you on every aspect of your stay, which also allows you to try excursions of all difficulties, from the gentlest ones for beginners to safe but more challenging paths. Finally, the poetic personality of Mr Giorgio watches over everyone, emerging from a story by Fenoglio and historical memory from which there is always so much to learn.

A day of memories in a place full of emotions for me and my long-time friends. My husband and I often go to the Al Cervo hotel because it is beautiful, the managers are divine and the food is amazing. And yesterday too we ate very well. Ingrid, the cook has the gift of knowing how to excellently combine the flavors and ancient dishes of South Tyrolean cuisine with the innovation that only a truly good chef can do. And yesterday it was like that too

When I arrived in Senale I had the feeling of having arrived in a magical world, outside the traditional tourist routes and with a very relaxing landscape. Possibility of making excellent excursions both on foot and by car. The hotel has a long history, but has been completely modernized in almost its entire structure and with all the necessary comforts. The owner family is very welcoming and kind, as are all the staff. Refined and very good cuisine. Absolutely recommended

When you say "cuddles". This is what you feel when you spend a holiday at the Hotel Zum Hirschen. The Kofler Mocatti family who runs the business, as well as being very welcoming and helpful, pays a lot of attention to the valorisation of local products, always seeking the best quality. The rooms and their cleanliness were excellent. The restaurant is a real delight; we start with breakfast and end with dinner. The dishes are continuous delicious surprises in complete compliance with the principles of slow food. It's the third time I've returned for a holiday, but I'm sure it won't be the last

The room was clean, inviting and newly furnished. The scent of pine hung in the air. The bathroom was also new and clean. The food was also very good and there was a large selection - both at breakfast and in the evening. The service was attentive and very friendly.

We stayed at the Hirschen again for 2 weeks and felt like we had come home. Peace, relaxation and sustainability is the motto. Pure enjoyment of what the gastronomy offers, even special requests are no problem. Edith and the whole team are keen to make our time at the Hirschen so enjoyable that you just have to come back. After many stays, our conclusion is that the whole team, service, kitchen, almost star level and café leave nothing to be desired. I can recommend the house with a clear conscience at any time.

Stayed with friends for 4 nights at the Hotel "Zum Hirschen". It's been a long time since our last visit. We really wanted to come back after the renovation. A lot has changed. Only positive. Hospitality: top (it's like visiting friends). The food: was great before. But now, I can't describe it. Regional products, sustainable, just great. I really shouldn't write a review because otherwise it's no longer an insider. But the host has more than earned this review.👍👍👍

Walking along the 'Jacopeo Way in the Val di Non, we stopped in this structure. Recently renovated with great attention to both the furnishings and the building, it is attentive to the customer and his needs. Very good breakfast, catering only dreamed of when reading the proposals but not tried given the needs of the Camino. To visit.
