We didn't stay at the Hotel, but had a meal there for my birthday. The food was delicious, and there are loads of choices on the menu. The service was fantastic and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We are hoping to visit again in the summer.

Stayed here for an overnight whilst visiting family. Met by bright, friendly professional staff. Room was nice and clean and everything required was provided. Would say that the pillows are a little flat but that comes down to personal preference. A little dated in placed but all in all a cosy wee hotel in a quiet location ideal spot to rest while visiting the surrounding area. Ate in the restaurant, good selection on the menu and the food was fantastic. Breakfast at 10! Great as it means you dont need to get up too early in the morning. Craig, well what can i say, brighter that the sun! Congratulations to you and your team for keeping the hotel bright, fresh and friendly.

It's the most fabulous food here. It's all freshly cooked to order, and best of all, they cater safely for gluten free diners and they don't charge extra for gluten free dishes. There's a separate fryer too. This is the cauliflower steak, which was absolutely gorgeous.

Had a valentines overnight stay and really enjoyed our stay.room was basic but comfortable with its own toilet and shower. Staff were very attentive and polite had our dinner and full Scottish breakfast at 10am so did not have to get up to early to have it.both meals were very well cooked and tasted really nice.all for £98 for two.would def say if you were looking for somewhere in that area to stay then you prob could not get better for value for money.

Craig and his fabulous team hosted a baby shower for a large group of our friends and family today. It was wonderful. We had a lovely table set up in the cosy Burns Lounge and enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea with sandwiches, wraps, scones and cakes…all made fresh. Tea and coffee was constantly refilled and we had our own bar open for more drinks. The service from Craig, Karen and the team was great, from helping us set up and throughout the day. Highly recommend for a little girly afternoon tea! Thanks all! Rachael x

I have recently spent five nights at this lovely hotel. I was a late arrival and the staff could not have been more helpful. Not only was I a late arrival but also up and out early each day, missing the cooked breakfast. The team would deliver either a continental breakfast to my room or a packed lunch. It really was a breathe off fresh air. Craig in particular as an absolute gem. The food in the evenings were not only delicious but very well presented. The only negative, and I wouldn’t really even class it as negative as it didn’t affect my stay, the room was a tiny bit dated. Like I say, it didn’t affect me and I would very happily stay there again. I’d like to say again a huge thank you to the team for their hospitality and efforts during my stay :)

Amazing stay at this hotel. Excellent value for money and the attention from the team running this hotel was first class. The food was all fresh and portions were huge! A joy to have breakfast served to you instead of a help yourself buffet. Will definitely be back.

The lounge bar is a wonderful and favourite spot for a meal. We really enjoyed their new festive vegan offering, parsnip soup with a warm roll, and a fantastic mushroom wellington with sautéed potatoes. In addition, they always have at a good number for vegan starter and main meal options on their regular menu too, including an excellent mushroom tagliatelle. Homely, lovely staff, and great food.
