Ibis Styles properties in Upper Franconia

Hotel location is very good, a few steps to the old bridge of the city hall, walking to various attractions is not far. There are many dining options around. The hotel facilities are newly renovated and modern, the public leisure area is large, and the free tea supply is very rare. The room was hygienic and comfortable, and the breakfast was very rich and delicious. Hotel parking has its own underground parking garage, convenient travel. Very satisfied stay experience.

I stayed here for the Bayreuth Festival and would definitely stay again. It's a brand new hotel, only built in 2019 (I think). The rooms were small but modern and spotlessly clean with really good, strong air-conditioning (which is an absolute MUST if you can't cope with hot August temperatures). The location is perfect for the Festspielhaus - only about 12 minutes walk and really close to the train station too. The whole place is bright and modern and there is a really nice bar and seating area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made me feel welcome. My only criticism would be that because the windows only take up about half of the external wall then the rooms are quite dark and you can't see very well if you're trying to work or pack a suitcase when it's not daylight hours. There isn't a wardrobe but some coat hangers attached to the wall at the side of the bed - which meant I had all my long evening dresses on display in the room.
