Great place to stay in Uppsala. We can see the river from the room. Nice breakfast -- scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon,cold cuts, breads, herring, shrimp etc. There is an orange squeezer machine. Nice strawberry smoothie. Hot drinks are also provided.
Our room is very clean and beds are very comfortable.
Only tiny complaint was only get 1 package of coffee but many sugar. But no big deal as we can drink at breakfast.
Love this place and highly recommend to other travellers

I really loved the old school approach. No overwhelming signs telling you how to act according to environmental concerns and how great their carbon footprint is, just a clean and well kept hotel , in a great area with a nice breakfast. Really, not much more is needed!
A warm and cosy 19 th century building in great condition. I would definitely not have a problem staying at this hotel again.
