HOTEL MYSTAYS Maihama

Excellent hotel with a great location! The service was decent; not top-tier, but there's definitely room for improvement.

The service was excellent, and the room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. There's 24-hour complimentary coffee, and a free shuttle bus to Maihama Station.

This hotel is quite bad. It seems cheap on the surface, but it's really not, with a lot of hidden charges. For instance, there's no bottled water in the room. It seems like most hotels in Tokyo don't provide bottled water, but other hotels usually have a water dispenser, which this one doesn't. Buying water here is much more expensive. They even charge for umbrellas! There was no room cleaning for our two-night stay. They claim it's an 'economy' hotel, but that wasn't stated on the booking. The soundproofing is terrible; being street-facing, the outside noise is clearly audible, making it hard to sleep. The room is tiny, especially the bathroom, where the bathtub, toilet, and sink are crammed together, making it difficult to even turn around. I booked for two nights, and after experiencing one night, I wanted to check out, but they wouldn't allow it.
