Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel

The hotel is very close to Disneyland, right opposite the new Izumisato park. The rooms are large, clean, and spacious. You can see views of both parks from the window, and even catch the Disneyland fireworks and the Disney train. We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM, and check-in was very slow; we waited 40 minutes.

📍 The location is absolutely fantastic! The hotel is right inside Tokyo Disney Resort, with Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line right at its doorstep, just a 5-minute walk away 🚃. There's a free shuttle bus to the parks, and an airport limousine bus stop downstairs, so even with luggage, it's a breeze. 🌿 The ambiance is grand yet quiet, with a high-ceilinged, spacious lobby and stylish art deco decor. From the ocean-view room's balcony, you can watch the sunset over Tokyo Bay and planes taking off and landing in the distance – truly therapeutic! 🌊 The room is quite spacious by Japanese standards; even with an extra bed for three of us, it was comfortable. The separate bathtub was perfect for soaking away the day's fatigue, and though the bedding was firm, we slept soundly. 🍳 Breakfast was the highlight! The hotel has four restaurants to choose from, and we tried them for three consecutive days: * **Grand Café:** The most popular, with the widest variety. The freshly made omelets and French toast are a must-try, but it often gets crowded in the morning, so going early is recommended. * **Galleria Café:** More geared towards Western light meals. The automatic coffee machine makes good lattes ☕. It's less crowded and quiet, perfect for a quick bite if you're in a hurry. * **Asuka (飛鳥):** Offers Japanese set meals. The grilled fish, miso soup, and small side dishes are exquisitely presented, adding a sense of ceremony 🍱. Service can be slow, but if you're not rushing, it's a very pleasant dining experience. 💁 The service is up to Japanese standards. The front desk staff communicate smoothly in English. Luggage storage and early check-in can be handled at the Welcome Center next to Maihama Station, which is very thoughtful. The kids' play area and indoor pool allowed the little ones to burn off energy completely, giving the adults a break. Overall, I'd definitely want to come back for the Disney convenience and breakfast variety! Highly recommend for families with kids. 👨‍👩‍👧

I stayed here for 3 nights after visiting Tokyo Disneyland one day and DisneySea the next. It's very close to Bayside Station, just a short walk away, so no need for a shuttle. The hotel is large, and the room was quite spacious, but it's genuinely very old and dated. As soon as you step out of the elevator, there's a strong musty smell that made me sneeze. The air conditioning controls surprised me; I'd never seen anything like them before and almost couldn't figure them out. Although there are several restaurants for breakfast, the food variety isn't actually that much, and the taste is just average. Plus, you have to queue for everything. There are too few coin-operated washing machines, so you can never get a turn. All in all, I wouldn't consider staying here again.

This was my second stay at this Sheraton. My previous visit was great – it was very close to Disney, offered good value for money, and had a delicious breakfast. That's why I booked it again, but this time I was a bit disappointed. The hotel's cleanliness wasn't as good as last year. During my two-night stay, on the second night, I found false eyelashes under a pillow, which was quite disgusting. Furthermore, the bathroom in the room was old and the hairdryer was terrible, so I decided to pay extra to use the hotel's bathhouse. However, I didn't know that boys aged 5-6 were allowed to bathe with their mothers there. Suddenly, 3-4 boys of that age came in, and my daughter, who was with me, felt very uncomfortable. We quickly finished showering and left. I hope the hotel informs guests about the possibility of encountering boys bathing with their mothers when they pay for the bathhouse.
