Because my child went to UIUC for a project, I booked a room at Yougo. The facilities in the room were good, and there were all the necessities of life, including tableware, pots and pans. However, this is actually an apartment, and there is no service. We stayed for a long time, and there was no cleaning for a month. Another thing is that if you stay for more than 14 days, you can negotiate a price with the hotel.

The place was okay overall. The location was nice, the space was a good size, and having a bakery in the lobby was a great perk. That said, the shower didn’t drain well at all, and the walls were a bit thin.

No rollaway beds were available even though the description said they were free. No hotel parking spaces were free.

Yes the room was great. Setup was great. Everything was clean and tidy. A perfect fit for us and wished we had a longer stay. Staff was great and super courteous.

This is a student apartment building with, it appears, a few “hotel rooms”. There was absolutely no noise from students but a fair amount of noise from the traffic on the street. Other than that it’s very new, very clean and has a little cafe/bakery on the first floor. Parking is provided.

Room and property were ideal for our stay. It came with sufficient utensils/plates/etc to allow us to cook a meal one evening. Other than a non-functioning microwave which the staff was already aware of, the place was ideal.

Top Highlights: Very clean and well-maintained. Rooms are newly furnished and nicely updated. Washer and dryer available in the unit for longer stays. Needs Improvement: There’s no staff available outside of check-in hours. If you need help or want to check out, no one is around, a self-service kiosk would really help. This is not a traditional hotel, and guests cannot use amenities in the building. Parking is limited due to a busy bakery and coffee shop next door. You may need to park across the street or behind the building, which isn’t ideal, especially at night or in bad weather. Hallways are very dark and could use better lighting. Toilet paper ran out, and since no staff were available, I had to go out and buy my own. TV is very basic, you must sign in with your own streaming accounts.
