We were recommended by our Hong Kong friends to visit Ureshino Town for its hot springs ♨️. Overall, the hotel left a great impression on me. The uncle at the front desk spoke fluent Cantonese with excellent pronunciation. He clearly explained all the good food and attractions nearby and even allowed us to check in early, which was fantastic! Both breakfast and dinner were buffet style, and the food suited our taste perfectly; my family all enjoyed it. The hot springs were also good. We stayed for two consecutive nights, and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! We'll be back next time! ❤️

The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet area. Although we had to make our own beds, the mattress was really comfortable. The only downside was that the pillows were too high, so I had to fold up a towel to use as a pillow instead.

It's a bit far from JR Ureshino Onsen Station, so I'd recommend taking the bus. You can choose your own yukata on the first floor, and the hotel's public bath is on the 10th floor, which was pretty good. Overall, the value for money is decent. Ureshino Onsen's specialty is tofu, and it's quite delicious.

Unfortunately, I experienced food poisoning after breakfast at this hotel. About an hour after eating, I started vomiting and vomited 7 times throughout the day. At 10 PM, I had to visit a medical clinic, which cost me 10,000 JPY out of pocket. I only started to feel better after receiving an IV drip and medication.

Overall, I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel. It is a large hotel and the price was reasonable for the quality of the stay. The highlight for me was the cleanliness. The hotel also boasts a fantastic amenity: a rooftop onsen (hot spring). It was incredibly relaxing and offered a great way to unwind after a long day of travel. The main downside, however, was the dining options. While convenient, both the breakfast and dinner buffets were quite expensive. There are probably more affordable local options nearby if you are looking to save on meals.

While I loved the clean facility, breakfast was sadly not worth adding to the room only price unless you think it’s worth paying for the convenience.
