Yunbo Youth Hotel (Urumqi High-speed Railway Station)

The entire place was impeccably clean, and housekeeping tidied our room daily. The bedding was soft, clean, and odor-free. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there was plenty of hot water available 24/7, making for a really great shower experience. Definitely worth a stay.

The room was very clean and had no strange odors, perfect for a travel stopover.

After spending over a month in Xinjiang and staying at more than ten hotels and hostels, regardless of the facilities, at least the bedding was always clean and bug-free. This is the first time in all these years I've seen bugs on the bed. At first, I thought they were just ordinary insects, but later I looked it up and found out they were bed bugs, and from the state of them on the tissue, they were engorged with blood. I discovered the bugs the night I checked in and reported it to the front desk the next day. They offered a room change and waived the previous night's room fee. After checking out two nights later, I noticed a lot of red spots and bumps on my body. I contacted the front desk to request a refund for both nights – one night was already waived, and the other was for medical expenses. I felt this was a reasonable request. The hotel manager agreed. However, as a hotel, when a guest gets bitten by bugs in your room, and even sends you pictures of the bites, all you get back is a simple "mm-hm, got it," without even a basic apology or concern. Do you think I'm just after the seventy yuan? Or do you believe that guests who have already checked out can be easily dismissed? I don't want the money; I just want an appropriate response and attitude.
