Botu Hostel (Urumqi International Grand Bazaar South Gate Subway Station)

Great location, and perfect for introverts who just want a place to stay. However, there was a smoky smell in the common areas, and the mixed-gender floors made me feel a bit unsafe. Plus, in the morning, I noticed a strange, fishy smell in the hallway, like a dirty mop.

Excellent! The front desk service was great, and the hygiene was top-notch. It's in a bustling area, which surprised me because I thought it would be in some out-of-the-way corner. The room attendant was friendly, always greeting me with a smile, and check-out was also very smooth. I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommend!

The location is quite good, very close to the subway station with direct access to the airport. It's also only about two kilometers from some popular attractions. Downstairs feels like a commercial area, with a mall nearby. The front desk staff in the morning were a bit cold, but the two ladies at noon were very nice. However, on the second night, the password for the room lock was changed, and two out of the four people in the room weren't informed... It's clean, but the bathroom has a slight odor. I suggest using an air freshener or incense. The shower room door is a bit transparent, and a few of the showers had poor water pressure. The connection on the showerhead might be broken as it leaked a bit, but there was plenty of hot water. The room hygiene is great, and disposable toiletries, a washing machine, dryer, drinking hot water, and lockers are provided. The only thing that bothered me a bit was on my first night, two girls were playing videos loudly on their phones until around 1:30 AM... The second night was much better. I suggest putting up a sign about quiet hours.

This hostel's e-sports room setup is really impressive. The 4070 runs super fast, making gaming incredibly smooth. It's a three-person room, but it's not too noisy. The shared bathrooms are also very comfortable and clean, and they even provide toiletries. The 24-hour hot water is a huge plus! The bunk beds are quite comfy, and everyone gets their own locker, which is great for privacy. The staff are all very friendly too!

This hostel is the best value for money I've ever stayed at. The rooms are genuinely clean and, best of all, you don't have to change your own sheets and duvet covers – they have housekeeping staff! The facilities are also quite complete, with free washing machines and tumble dryers. Hot water is available 24/7. Highly recommend!
