An old building with the feel of a long-established establishment. It seemed like they were limiting the number of patrons and running the place with a small number of staff. This resulted in a homely atmosphere, and I felt comfortable with the relaxed atmosphere when I stayed there for several nights. The room I stayed in had a balcony, and I was told on the day that smoking was allowed, so I was glad I could smoke. I stayed alone, but the breakfast was basically for two people, so I ate two meals. It was a set of toast, sausages, and fried eggs, and a medicinal rice porridge set, and the portions were not very large. The taste was average. It's close to the Grand Night Market, where you can eat a variety of Thai dishes at low prices, and the location is also full of massages and pubs, so it's enjoyable. I'd like to go again.

The room is unnecessarily large. The only good thing about it is that it's close to downtown.

The hot water was out of order, they did not do a daily clean of our room so we had rubbish piled up in our room bins and when we returned from a tiring full day of exploring, the room was as we had left it. Expected a buffet breakfast like all hotels do but instead was asked to choose from a couple of options at check in, so at breakfast, depending on your choice made at check in,they have either fried eggs or soup, plus toast ready to go as soon as you arrive. Eggs stone cold. Been travelling throughout Southeast Asia for months and this has to be the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Will not be returning to this hotel.
