Days Inn by Wyndham Utica

Context: 1 bed, handicapt accessible, non-smoking room. Pros: Safe and clean parking lot. Very friendly and understanding staff. Adequate heating system. Comfortable and well kept furniture. Clean and tidy hotel rooms. Cons: Continental breakfast is lacking. Strange smell in small workout room. No fridge or microwave in room (One is available in a room adjacent to the hallway). Plaster on closet wall was chipped and broken exposing dry wall underneath.

Basic hotel, rooms are small for the reserved suites, exterior is nothing to be proud of, snow plowing had piles limiting parking at 8 plus spots had to park down the street and walk to our room, walls are very thin and neighboring guests made it hard to sleep with noise, pillows are way to soft, water pressure is sub par but great temps! Staff was great and helpful…

Basic minimalistic room if not staying long. Neat and clean, however no room coffee, no fridge/ microwave, clock, etc. Heat/ ac loud. Bed bases metal and noisy. Beds were comfy though. No real breakfast..wifi poor- slow if able to get it to work. TV fuzzy but many channels available.

They say they had complementary breakfastthere was no breakfast just donuts and an apple, and you can hear everybody in the hall and in the room

Staff was nice. And the room was clean considering the price. The room door was obnoxious and tedious to close. Let customers know there's no hot breakfast that's to go.

The room door was open and the lock was stuck upon arrival to the room. The bed sheets were dirty. There was drool on the bottom sheet near the pillow and stains on the pillow case. Th e room was freezing and there was no fridge or microwave. I booked through orbitz and was refunded the total amount.

The room had no heat and deadbolt was broken. Manager moved my room. 2nd room also had no heat. took about 2 hours to heat up in which I left room because it was too cold. In the morning, the breakfast was completely empty.

It took over 30 min to check me in because the system was having issues. Got charged extra fees when I got there because I wasn’t taxed right on the booking site. The heat didn’t work half the night, had to take a cold shower in the winter. The WiFi didn’t work. Half the time my key card didn’t work.

Had a suite located right at entrance and exit of the building we’re all night. We heard the door slamming till 1 o’clock in the morning then started again at four when people were leaving. We had literally no sleep. This wasn’t because the people slammed slam the door. It was because the door closed that way, so it wasn’t that people were throwing the door. Heater /air conditioner was disconnected from the wall so the cold air from outside was coming into our room. We had another day to stay there, but the conditions were so bad. They do not have a room to change it and will probably not get my money refunded. we have heard nothing from management.
