It was nice stay with all aminities food and lodging well maintained. Hotel veg and non veg was availablr well maintained. The location has beach near by within 7 kms which was comapct and food one.

This hotel.is centrally located in Gokarna. The important temples are close by . Other places are easily accessible.This is best place to stay for a tourist family new to Gokarna.Rooms are good ,the hotel cleanliness is excellent,price quite affordable and breakfast are good .The staff are polite and willing to help . Foreign tourist can communicate in English with staff.Rooms have all essential facilities.

We just got done with our short but pleasant stay at The Godavari. The rooms are clean, cosy, comfortable and complete with good and beautiful fittings. The hotel is very new and it clearly shows. The inhouse restaurant also is excellent and we loved all the meals we had there, including the refreshing watermelon juice which was also their welcome drink.The hotel has a swimming pool as well as a spa Centre, which we didt utilise but we did see many people enjoying in the pool. The location of the hotel is quite good, being just around a km from Kudle Beach and the Mahabaleshwar temple. Would definitely recommend staying at The Godavari to everyone who travels to Gokarna!

Om beach resort is 5 km from the beach on Om Beach road. It is a got run venue with mostly lovely staff except the manager. As we arrived he started yelling at us that he had tried to contact the tour co to find out where we were. This was a clear booking months in advance. We arrived at 1.45m....not late. He relentlessly yelled at us as if his problems were ours. We think he hates his job. The only conclusion we can come to. With this welcome? We proceeded to complete documentation, were given details of meal times, no WiFi and directed to go the dining area & eat lunch. No indication where our room was. Never informed about a pool existing. Once lunch finished we finally found someone who could help.us find our room. The room was a double room, spacious with inside and outside seating, comfy bed and a clean bathroom. There was air con, fans and filtered water in jugs provided. By far all the other staff apart from the manager were friendly, helpful and professional. The meal times were set and food was presented buffet style. The meals were quite adequate. The gardens of the property were delightful. A lovely setting. There was also a really pleasant *** who could take you down to Om Beach or Kudle Beach at 7.30 am and 4pm. A welcome service. Sadly none of this information had been told to us so it took time to know what was happening. The staff knew the routine but it would have been good to give a kind welcome and a broader low down of what the property has on offer at check in. This is an ideal spot to be away from chaos once you get past the front desk😊
