The hotel Cosy Rooms Bolseria is hidden in a one way alley in a central location in Valencia. If you don’t pay attention you may actually miss it. The reception is very welcoming, with vintage furniture and wooden beams showcasing a traditional style of old buildings in Valencia. Room is small but clean, with red brick wall and a simple toilet but fully equipped: clean towels, shampoo, body gel, body lotion, hair dryer, etcetera. The highlight is definitely the jacuzzi at the rooftop. When we arrived, we were a bit disappointed at first, since it was covered, however we kindly asked the staff who helped us to remove the protective cover and to turn the jacuzzi on. We enjoyed it alone overlooking the Valencia rooftops. Not the best view over the city skyline, but good enough to relax. The water in the jacuzzi was not warm, however given the summer heat it was good enough. Don’t expect any service at the rooftop though, so bring your own towels (or from the room) and drinks if you want to enjoy your time there.

To begin with, the room they gave us was not clean or sanitized at all. There was lime in the “bathtub” and shower, they were dirty, you had to go into the shower with flip flops. The floor had grease and a lot of dirt that should have been cleaned to make the place habitable, in addition, the room gave off a terrible smell and it did not disappear during the entire stay (sewer smell). If you wanted to ventilate the room it was also impossible because the window had its opening blocked. The toilet had suspicious colored stains, as did the bed sheets. We asked for an extra large bed and they put 2 mattresses together which was not what we asked for, just as we didn't ask for that bathtub either, since you couldn't sit down because it was so dirty (I attach photos) the plug didn't work, and it was full of black lime We also asked for a balcony and it didn't have a balcony. To make matters worse, we were calling the reception by phone, so that she knew the estimated time of our arrival, because we had read in comments about the hostel that we had to go to another location to get the key. When we arrived the key was not yet there (the girl already knew this) and she sent 2 “internship” guys to bring us the room key, and when they arrive we see that they hardly speak Spanish, and they take photos of our ID. with her personal cell phone (without any authorization) We went to talk to the receptionist (who was another girl, not the one we spoke to on the phone) to change our room and request a refund for the previous night, and the girl does not give us solutions and speaks to us with a rather arrogant air (she starts writing while we were talking to her, she interrupted us and did not listen to us) she only offered us the complaint form, and we agreed to put one because the woman was not helping us and several times I told her I wanted to talk to the manager and he didn't listen to me (I diverted the topic). In the end the cleaning girls helped us a lot, as they showed us other rooms at the request of the receptionist and us, super attentive and very friendly, so the Second night we slept in another room that was totally different, it was sanitized, the floor was apparently clean and the bed was clean. The receptionist told us that the room she offered us was the superior one, and that it met the conditions (apparently it didn't) and of course, although the room we changed to was smaller, we were much more comfortable (although without bathtub but with terrace) In general, terrible service, except for the cleaning girls.

Everything was correct, the only thing was the light in the bathroom/shower in which almost nothing could be seen, for the rest everything was correct

First night in Valencia It was already 9 o'clock in the evening when we got off the train So just find a normal hotel to rest Follow the map to the location of the hotel Then I found out that check in has to go to another location About 5 minutes away, we walked around with our luggage The point is that there's no upfront feeling. Finally arrived at the room, which is 504 on the top floor (double room with terrace) The room is not big, the ba*****t is dusty, the bathroom is not clean The terrace is acceptable but it is connected to the hotel's spa The middle is just covered with straw After we ate and took a bath, it was already past 12 o'clock in the evening But there are still residents chatting in the spa facility The room can be heard clearly without sound insulation As a result, it was after 2 o'clock that the tranquility returned Breakfast is normal, simple style, eggs need to be ordered separately The advantage of the hotel is that it is close to the scenic spot, and the bathing water is powerful Luggage can be stored after check-out It’s not easy to do Lidu next time 😅🤣

Top: everything! Tip: we missed hooks and shelves in the room, but compared to the tops, they also fell into nothing. Next time we will book this again!

Excellent location for short trips

The front desk is unmanned, the place is remote, the facilities are old but the price is good

I was very disappointed with my stay at Cosy Rooms for the following reasons. The main positive point I'd mention first is the location which is very good for access to the centre and the old town. The beds were also large and comfortable. 1. The noise. Late arrivals to the hotel were incredibly noisy and kept us up very late. The sound proofing between rooms is very poor - you can hear other guests snoring and it kept us awake. 2. The cleanliness. Firstly the sink isn't located in the bathroom which makes washing your hands / cleaning teeth etc quite tricky. The room and shared spaces inc. hallway were not clean. We also spotted a cockroach in the bathroom. 3. The staff were not very friendly. 4. The hot tub is featured prominently on the page to attract travellers but it was empty and unclean when we stayed there - and therefore not usable. I wouldn't recommend Cosy Rooms to others, and were disappointed at the quality especially as the costs were very high (as it was the marathon weekend).

The key barely worked to get into the terrace, and the address I was given was not where I ended up staying

The main picture advertising this hotel is the hot tub on the terrace, when we got there it was off, covered in dust and cold swampy water in it. I booked this hotel specifically for the hot tub to relax! False advertising.

No aircon. Lots of street noise until after 3am. Only one source of light very dark at the entrance to the room. On arrival sign instructs you to go to their other hotel to collect the keys.

There was a terrible smell and the bathroom was dirty

It is in the historic centre of Valencia, which is very pretty! Positives: - everything is in a walking distance (food and shops) - no carpet in room - hairdryer and towels are given to you - some staff was nice, others a little more cold - room was clean - airconditioning - door to hotel had a code (safe!) - elevator Negatives: - cockroach in room - shower water wouldnt go down the drain easily - lots of 18-20 year olds that were extremely loud when coming back from the door (yelling, slamming down doors,…) - thin sheets - a little far from the beach (40-50 mins with public transport)
