My Place Hotel-Vancouver, WA

Excellent

I am not quite sure why this hotel has such good reviews. $142 per night. Kitchenette with no utensils, plates or any basic cookware. When asking administrators about it, they say it is their policy but they can sell you paper plates, if you need. Entrance to the hotel to check in- the hallway is full of empty boxes and packaging material. Freshly cleaned room has black long hair on all the fresh towels and kitchenette countertops. Shady people in the hallway on the floor. 11pm- “neighbours” upstairs coming in and starting jumping and running, and yelling in the room. You can hear everything. Find a better place for this price. Thankfully, that area has a lot of hotels.

I got to the property around or past midnight ready to take a shower and sleep. They were really nice at reception and checking me in. I got my room and went in the shower, already wet, there was no shampoo, no conditioner and no body wash. Everything was out, I had face soap and had to made do with that. Disappointed. They had given us a late check out of 1pm, and I placed the don’t disturb sign at the door. Sharp at 11am, knocks loudly twice (I was in the bathroom), then proceeded to try to open the door, good thing I had the lock on. It did bother me however, that she loudly knocked even though the don’t disturb sign was hanging and I had late check out. Won’t stay here again.

This is a great place to stay and for a fair price. The staff has been great and attentive to anything that I’ve requested. I wish they had a breakfast and a few amenities for guests but all around a decent place to stay with the family.

My family and I enjoyed te facilities and staff. The hotel is situated in a great location near shopping, dining and freeway access. We will gladly visit My Place again!

Forget the kitchen. Worthless as there were no utensils. Either you bring your own everything or they sell you plates, etc. Microwave was located very low; like a few feet from the floor. Difficult to use. No dishwasher. Poor lighting; one dim lamp or very bright overhead lights. That's the choice. Bathroom was fine. Room was clean.

Super clean. Comfortable beds and a fantastic location. Quiet and perfect for what we needed.

Clean yet? Simple room. Friendly front staff. Everything you need for a getaway. It was nice to see the room had a microwave, fridge, stove top. Beds were a bit hard but comfortable.

When we got checked in, our room smelled like smoke. When I requested to be moved to a different room, it still had a bad smell to it. I then woke up at 6 am to water dripping from the ceiling. Not to mention, the people above me had their 3 BIG dogs running back and forth until after midnight. I’ve never had these kinds of issues anywhere so I am honestly in disbelief at the lack of proper maintenance and unprofessionalism. Miserable experience all around and we weren’t offered anything to make up for these inconveniences.
