EXchange Hotel Vancouver Reviews

The hotel has a convenient location and the staff are friendly and welcoming. However, the rooms are too small, and the lighting design is unreasonable, making the whole room very dark. There are no windows to open for ventilation. When I first checked in, the air conditioning was very cold, and I found that the room settings were not adjustable. I had to call the front desk, and it turned out to be a central control unit; the previous guest had set it to 19 degrees Celsius. The bedding was quite comfortable, but I don't know why it was a winter blanket but a thin summer blanket. Combined with the air conditioning issue, I was freezing even after getting off a plane and trying to rest. The hairdryer that was supposed to be in the room broke after only three minutes, and staff had to bring it up again. The charging station by the bed was also oddly designed. The toilet flushing noise was incredibly loud; if you are sensitive to noise and there are two people in the room, you could easily be woken up at night. Overall, for a similar price, the experience was not as good as other hotels in the area.
