Hotel is old building with zero maintenance and some of the staff behavior is also very bad.
Coffee machine not working since 3-4 days but no one is responsible. In house phone in room is not working, for every request either come down to reception or call reception number directly.
One of the elevator out of total 2 is out so order and no intimation to guest about that, even though they have 100% occupancy in last 2-3 days
Below photo is the bowl in service tray for tea bags , coffee and milk sachet. After informing to front manager as well it takes 1 full day to clean

Very ordinary experience at this hotel, food awful. Requested a coffee X 3, waited & waited & waited! Eventually arrived 15 mins later. Only requiring boiling water for a Nescafe sachet. That was only one thing. Dinner was cold, minimal food available in serving dishes & unappetising. Room was ok however having luggage bench underneath wardrobe was dangerous. I (intentionally) left a pair of shoes behind on the wardrobe shelf & realised that I had possibly left keys inside….the hotel denied any shoes being left at all! Room had not been left set up for Twin Share….i.e. no hand towel, face washer. Housekeeping unsure of request. Biggest let down really though was the dining.

We recently organized our NCPC 2025 of ICMAI program at HHI Varanasi on 28th-29th March 2025 and were delighted with the hotel's exceptional services. The Crystal Hall was ideal for our conference, the food was very good, and the staff were attentive and courteous. The rooms were tidy and well-appointed. The hotel's attention to detail and commitment to excellence made our event truly unforgettable.

The only redeeming part of my stay was the polite and helpful staff — they were genuinely courteous and tried their best to assist wherever possible. However, the overall experience was disappointing. • Food quality was below average, and for a buffet, it was quite underwhelming. • Toaster and coffee machine were not functional, which was inconvenient during breakfast. • The AC had no temperature control, making it hard to adjust for comfort. • The mini refrigerator was locked and unusable, which felt unnecessary and restrictive. • Beds were uncomfortable with worn-out springs that clearly need replacement. Given the poor maintenance and amenities, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. Only giving 3 stars out of respect for the staff.

Breakfast was very good especially Payal who served us. Meals in hotel room menu was absolutely delicious.. Lollipop chicken and breyani and butter Paneer. Well done chefs Room was good too Would definitely recommend and stay here again Loved Varanasi

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel HHI Varanasi. The property is clean, well-maintained, and in a great location. What truly made the experience exceptional was the hospitality of Duty Manager Mr. Shankar. He was extremely polite, professional, and went out of his way to assist us with every need. From smooth check-in to helping with local information, he ensured everything was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel, and a big thank you to Mr. Shankar for making our stay so comfortable.

Overall experience was very nice. Little improvement required in room service with ontime cleaning and maintenance. Water bottles were not provided on time as requested. Mr. Vikash was very courteous and professional. Would also like to appreciate Mr. Shankar for his exceptional customer service. Thank you!!
