Ramada Plaza by Wyndham JHV Varanasi

We had to get taxi to get to central Ghat, but nice and quiet place.

My recent stay at Ramada Plaza by Wyndham JHV Varanasi was quite disappointing, especially considering the brand standards one expects. The reception and housekeeping services were not up to standard. On multiple occasions we requested room cleaning, but the response was very poor. When the room was finally cleaned, the housekeeping staff member appeared unkempt and had a strong unpleasant odor, which made the experience uncomfortable. After cleaning, he repeatedly asked for tips, which felt inappropriate for a hotel of this category. Basic room amenities were also not maintained. Face towels were provided only on the first day, and for the next three days they were never replaced despite requests. Items such as tea bags, milk sachets, soap, and shampoo were not replenished once they were finished. Eventually, we had to buy bathing soap from a nearby supermarket, which should never be necessary when staying in an international hotel brand. Additionally, the restaurant food prices were quite high compared to the quality and standard of the food served, which was disappointing. Overall, the stay did not meet the expectations associated with the Ramada brand, and I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves their service standards.

The Ramada is well positioned in Varanasi, the services and amenities is pretty good, the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner is good. Wi-fi signal on the rooms should be improved. Recommended.

We visited from Fiji 🇫🇯. It's a great place, spacious room and very clean. It's almost 5-6km from the Ganga Ghaat so you have to take an auto to reach the temples or the river area. Don't take Uber as roads are mostly closed for big cars during peak hours. Bikes and auto are good. Hotel is next to JHV mall if you prefer some quick shopping within 100m walking distance from hotel

Only the laundry was good The bath tub has snails Cockroaches, bugs in the eating area, even in the rooms House keeping is the worst

Room 3124 was tired and requires a major maintenance. Fridge, TV, plugs on wall was not working. Took two attempts to fix. Other rooms maybe better but we will never know. Overall, it’s an overpriced hotel claiming to be a 5 star hotel without the 5 star experience. Found a pice of metal wire in my breakfast but no one seemed to take this matter seriously!! Wifi in room was touch and go but worked well in the reception floor.
