Hotel Marina Reviews

The hotel is relatively old and the hygiene is average. The bathroom facilities and room furniture need to be updated. The lights in the room are not bright and it feels dark at night. There is a charge for breakfast, but there are only a few simple choices, which seems not worth the money, but after all, parking is free, which is considered a balance. The other side of the hotel street faces the sea, and the environment outside is quite good. Moreover, this hotel is relatively cheap, and the price/performance ratio may be okay.

The rooms were relatively worn... The hotel seems to need a renovation....

Great hotel despite initial Internet connection issues. (Reception desk was very helpful and outgoing handling them.)

When making the reservation the two tiered type of rooms were not mentioned. When asked the reception admitted to the lower standard rooms. a hotel that tries to sell itself was international hotel in Copenhagen area without the basic television services is clearly lacking a perspective of what it is offering. personnel at the front desk should be given primary training of how to do their job. Probably correct to change this site to apartments.

The Location was great , close to beach and cosy coffeeshop , foodstore in the sane building , easy to drive to what evr u want in helaingør , free parking. The room was big enough but very old . We could NOT get into our booked room , we had to get the frontdesk guy and he used all his force to get in , and just lifted his shoulds like , hrm that how u open the door. We went in the room to check it out , hardly could flush since u hade to use the same force as to get into the room. My wife cut her foot on a metalspike that was comming up from the carpet at the table. We went down and they changed to a new guy at reception , he gave us a new room , with NO probs with door or flush button and NO spikes. So we decided to keep this room. The beds need to be replaced, u sleep like a U in the bed . Very u comfortable. And despite we opened the balkony fully , it was very very hot in the room , like there is ZERO airflow at all. We paid extra for the breakfastbuffé that had all we needed for a great start of the day. But it was way to pricy , 1000 ske or 94 USD for 4x brekfast,.. Thats to much. Also , u had to pay for coffe at reception 25 DKR /4 USD per cup . Simular hotels in this pricerange offers free coffe for their guests. Staff was friendly and checkin and checklut was very easy and fast. Also free parking just outside of hotel when u register yr car upon checkin. We would stay here again when they have upgraded their rooms and prices.

Rude receptionist, upon my arrival he seems annoyed that I don't understand the Danish language. It does not help me register my car on the terminal and forgot to tell me that free parking is not valid for my entire stay (to be renewed after 72 hours). I end up with a fine of 120€ in a foreign country, and of course the hotel refuses to take responsibility for it. Extremely disappointed.

Det undrer mig at det ikke var noget kaffemaskine eller er eller andet man kunne koge vand og kaffe / tea Det var heller ikke noget kupper eller glas hvid man selv skulle drikker vand / juice

The hotel is living on the past with reference of the place of location. Been here since many years it also realizing this hotel is getting older and not refreshed. Super sad, as we really wanted to enjoy our vacation. We travelled again after 1 night stay. Price wise, we took the premium room… sorry what is the difference.. no fridge, no cooling system or ventilation… bath room like a camping place. Sorry, not woth 1700Sek

Amazing location! But the rooms need some love, they’ve seen better days. In Sweden breakfast is almost always included in the prize, so it was a bit surprising that we had to pay (a lot!!) for breakfast. Not worth it.
