Hotel Phoenix

We stayed here on our first night in Croatia after flying into Zagreb that evening. It's very convenient to the Zagreb Airport and only 12 minutes away. We were with our 2 boys so we had 2,adjoining rooms. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. It had good Internet, a/c, nice sized bathroom, and it was all for a good price. Breakfast is downstairs and is included and consisted of meats, cheese, bread, yogurt, jam, meat spread, juice and coffee. Service at check-in and breakfast was friendly and efficient. There is also an enclosed playground outside which my kids enjoyed. Thank you and we would definitely recommend.

Someone before us had obviously thrown up in the bathroom and the maids just didn’t clean the toilets well. You could see it on the outside of the toilet bowl. The wifi was super weak. We ended up having to use data on our phones because we couldn’t maintain an internet connection using the Hotel’s WiFi. The grout between the tiles in the shower is dirty. The staff were friendly.

Great Staff, 10 min to the airport. free parking, large rooms, food in the restaurant was great.

The room was sub standard. The place looked very outdated and scary

The huge and delicious breakfast was a pleasant surprise! Unfortunately, the wifi was very weak - almost to the point of being unusable.

Air connection did not work and also was not hot water, could not take shower. We had 1 year baby, was hard.

Good but not great. Arrived late from airport. Not a welcoming greeting from the security guard who could not even supply some water & ice in the heat. No English and no interest in using google translate to engage. However, rooms are immaculate as is the full property. With a/c and all amenities we needed for an over night. Main staff much more friendly and helpful but I’d still expect more. For example - When I asked for a taxi I was told to call an Uber. On balance, a good hotel if you are looking for somewhere simple and easy on your journey. Note - not as near to the airport as you think.
