Mercure Venezia Marghera

The room was spacious, a bit better than expected. The main reason I booked it was for the free parking. There's a bus stop about a 5-7 minute walk away, with direct service to Venice Island, which was quite convenient.

This hotel offers good value for money, but it's quite far from the islands, and after 6 PM, there are no dining options nearby. If you're out and about, I'd recommend eating before returning, otherwise, it'll be hard to find food. This is the most inconvenient aspect of staying at this hotel; everything else is fine. Also, I recommend buying a day pass for Venice; it's more economical and allows you to use the water buses.

Fast check-in and friendly staff. I checked out early the next day so I can't comment on breakfast. I enquired with the hotel and they kindly offered to prepare a breakfast box for me. Hope to see you again soon.

The room was quite spacious and conveniently located right by the roundabout. The parking lot seemed to be free, probably because it's off-season. It's a great spot for those traveling by car. We took a bus directly to the island, and on the way back, a train to the mainland, where there were plenty of Chinese restaurants. After dinner, it was a pleasant 30-minute stroll back to the hotel. It was a perfect trip, Venice is beautiful and wasn't smelly at all. Fantastic. We skipped breakfast as we had an early start the next day to return the car and catch our flight. A perfect end to our ten-day journey.

The location is perfect, right next to the highway. You can easily take a bus to Venice city center. The hotel is clean. Parking is free. We just had a small issue with the shampoo dispenser being empty and not refilled.
