Carnival Palace - Venice Collection Reviews

This hotel is in an excellent location! There's a water bus stop right outside, making it super convenient to get to the train station – only about a 10-minute ride. The hotel provides complimentary drinking water, a kettle, tea bags, and other amenities. The breakfast was really good, especially the cappuccino; it was even better than what you get at many coffee shops. They had hot food, as well as vegetables and fruits. A big thank you to the front desk for the complimentary room upgrade!

Great staff, wonderful bathroom and good location in an interesting part of Venice, not far from the “must-see” old Jewish Ghetto. But breakfast was a little disappointing (poor quality - yogurt with industrial starch/over-cooked eggs, sugar-packed juice) and wi-fi was patchy (at least in my room).

The hotel staff were very accommodating, and it's conveniently located close to the ferry terminal. The breakfast was quite delicious, and I loved the colorful lights in the bathroom – a really cute touch!

This hotel is too far from the beautiful Doge's Palace area; it takes at least half an hour to get there from the hotel, which is quite a walk. It's impossible to go from one end of the seaside to the other and come back to rest in between during the day. Taking a water bus costs upwards of 9.5 euros, which isn't worth it. I suspect the hotel management is boosting their ratings on Ctrip because the rooms assigned to our group of Chinese guests were either tucked away in the back, next to the linen storage room, or on the first floor. In any case, we couldn't get a peaceful night's sleep, and the noise started promptly at 6 AM. The shower head was broken, so only the overhead shower worked, and the room had a somewhat dark ambiance. Breakfast was decent, though.

We had an enjoyable stay, it’s near a waterbus station so it’s easy to get to the train terminal. A lot of food places nearby

Had a great stay here. The facilities are excellent, it was quiet and comfortable, and the breakfast was fantastic.

I had a very pleasant stay at the Carnival Palace Hotel. The location is excellent, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, which made check-in smooth and enjoyable. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, catering to different tastes and preferences. I’d also like to highlight the restaurant staff, who were attentive and provided great service throughout. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

Stay one night. The room have sufficient space and location is good for you to travel within the Venice. The sunset in Venice is awesome! The location is about 12mins walking distance and you can travel by the 5.1/5.2 ferry.

Had such a great time in Venice. Hotel was located right infront of water bus stations. There were about 3 water bus stations. You’re able to take the water bus to Milanoand Hiram as well. So it’s convenient. Within walking distance to centre area of Venice. Lots of good food near the hotel too! The Italian restaurants are simply amazing!

They upgraded our room, and the bathroom lights were really cool and colorful! The bed was super comfortable. The guys at the front desk were so nice; they patiently helped us figure out how to buy train tickets. Thumbs up! 👍

Hmm room is clean, location is great. But you will need to pay for water and you need to pay for them to deliver to your room 😅 better get your own water ready.

Very friendly staff, amazing location near the Venice island train station. Many local restaurants nearby and an excellent breakfast selection.

the front desk staff were really friendly, they showed us maps around the city, recommended us restaurants and boat rides! it was a wonderful anniversary with my partner!
