Great value hotel, right on the canal, close to restaurants and main attractions. Really stunning large room with two windows overlooking the canal. Clean bathroom. Nespresso maker in the room.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It is beautiful and truly captures the authentic Venetian atmosphere, which made the experience even more special. I really enjoyed the overall design and ambiance. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. Although there is no elevator (which is very common in Venice), the staff kindly assisted with carrying the luggage, which was much appreciated. Overall, it was a lovely hotel and I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I would happily recommend it to others visiting Venice.

Great location - perfect for walkers. Fantastic view from lobby and breakfast place. Room view faces a smaller canal but still fascinating.

The hotel is tucked away in the courtyards of Venice. BUT... everything inside the hotel is excellent! It's clean and beautiful. The breakfast is great and varied, catering to your taste. I will definitely stay there again.

Loved that I could take a water taxi right to the hotel! The room was small but cute, it served its purpose for changing my clothes and sleeping! Only issue I had in the room was the micro table next to the bed obviously wasn't cleaned because when I went to set my phone on it before bed my hand touched something and I had to turn the light back on to see what it was..... someone's fingernail or toenails clippings 🤢..... Positively Gross!!! As you can see from the photos they were NOT mine!

The staff was outstanding throughout, welcoming at check-in, helpful with carrying luggage up the stairs, fantastic when wanted a drink at bar in the evening, check-out was smooth. Location is great espeically if you arrive on Water Taxi, tucked in a quiet area, short walk out to lots of eateries.

We went there to stay in December. It was very nice and classy! Looks like they just renewed the bathroom. You can see the beautiful canal view from the balcony where you have a breakfast.

This stay had a mix of positives and negatives. We were not placed at San Cassiano as expected but were instead transferred to another hotel in their chain, Palazzo Stern. The alternate hotel wasn’t bad—it's located along the Grand Canal and has a lovely terrace. The property itself boasts some impressive design elements, likely stemming from its past as an antique mansion turned hotel. We were given a loft room, which unfortunately didn’t have any windows with a view, and the space was a bit cramped for two large suitcases. On the plus side, the bathroom had a beautiful design. Breakfast was ok, though nothing to rave about. The hotel is a bit of a walk from most attractions unless you opt for a water taxi, with a water taxi stop conveniently located right outside the hotel.

Good place to stay

Great location 5min walk from San Stae Vaporetto stop which means you can get from Marco Polo airport on AliLaguna Orange line. It’s smacked in the middle of Venice making walking to major landmarks easy in 20-30min. Front staffs and porter were helpful and friendly. It’s nicely decorated. No lift but the Room was large and clean. Best was the deck to have coffee overlooking Grand Canal. Bathroom and linen were clean. Highly recommended.

Great experience with this hotel. Staff are kind and welcoming. Very clean room, perfect location and good breakfast. Everything I wanted. Will stay here again.

Great hotel. We are very well pleased with the service provided by this hotel. Breakfast was amazing, rooms were big and clean. Awesome views from the hotel.

The hotel is close to the station and can be reached on foot in 3-5 minutes. It's very quiet there in the evenings. The rooms are also quiet during the day. Only in the mornings is it quite noisy from conversations in the hallway and from the sound of neighbors' doors opening and closing. The breakfast was also very good with many fresh options. The staff are friendly. The terrace of the breakfast room is a lovely place to sit comfortably by the water.
